She realized with a shock that no sound could possibly leave this room. It was overprotective. And totally unnecessary but it was him. Her lips parted in awe, a small laugh catching in her throat. Of course he would go this far. Before she could speak, his teeth clamped gently against the side of her neck. She gasped in surprise, eyes widening, but the sharpness she expected never came. Instead, a dull ache bloomed, quickly fading into warmth that sent tingles down her back. He was biting her. Marking her just like she did to him. "I placed too many sound cancellation talismans on the door," he murmured, pulling back slightly. His tongue brushed the spot he had bitten, soothing it with slow, lingering strokes. "How does it feel... being the one marked?" Her lips parted. She stared at him, breath shallow, mind spinning. She had always been the one to leave marks on him. It had become almost a habit, her secret way of claiming him. Now... he was marking her. And she loved it.
