Whilst Oscar had worked hard to protect humanity and maintained a strong and confident image to the public, he admitted to Quinn when he was dying and had the option to be brought back that he was tired of protecting humanity and that it was time that he passed on. Loves his daughter enough that even when he became a Dullahan he continued to show paternal instincts for her when Fex Sanguinis confesses to Samantha White his daughter.

At the start of the Dalki war humanity was losing until the Originals taught others their powers. Oscar learnt the earth ability and showed great talent in it. When Richard taught portal technology to humans and revealed beast crystals could be made into beast weapons, Oscar and his team were sent to search and harvest beast worlds for crystals, when they got them they would send them back to the military. They would slowly get better weapons and armour from the crystals they returned as they were the ones going into danger and getting more of the crystals. Slowly as they were travelling further and further they found that the level of the beasts was increasing. After a long battle with some of the strongest beasts yet some of his squad had been heavily injured and the squad had taken shelter in a cave. Whilst in the cave two (they didn't know) demon beasts the first being a hound with two heads which had immediately died from the fight with the other beast a humanoid beast with ice abilities. After a fight during which all of his other squad members had been killed or frozen to death by the demon tier's abilities, he obtained humanity's first demon crystal. After the Dalki war, Oscar had negotiated with the Board to put himself in charge of the military as the Supreme Commander, although the Board itself was not widely known.
