Quinn Talen

Quinn can be described as a headstrong child, he has a hard time to notice any changes to his environment or his own health. He doesn't like to be oppressed or lied to. He always likes to help weaker people, since he has experience with loneliness due to his parents dying. As a result of living as an orphan and later bullied, Quinn is open-minded that humans are malleable, and he has a distaste for the government and corrupt military. When around with his friends, he acts a lot more carefree and trusting, this makes him a bit goofy. Kind of rat-like, but overall his friends always trust their backs. Quinn would always go an extra mile to help his friends. He will become a lot more reckless trying to save or defend his close friends. As shown in an inter-military base tournament, he will vent his frustration about hiding himself and abandoning his friends, this caused him to show the world that he has the power to defend friends. This self-sacrificing side even impresses the Vampire Council's Family Leaders as a mark of a true Vampire Leader. Quinn is a slightly curly, black haired orphaned teenager at the start of the novel. He needed a new pair of glasses and just from looking at them, you could tell they were heavily worn. The sides were covered with tape, and they didn't even fit straight on his face. He had a weather-beaten face with glasses; after he gained the vampire system, his eyesight was better than perfect, and no longer needed glasses. Due to limited resources as a common state funded orphan, the 5'11" Quinn was quite skinny for his age and didn't have a lot of muscle on him, and he looked incredibly weak. Strangers thought Quinn looked like the type of boy who would have gotten bullied at school. The Blooded turning also made Quinn's appearance become more handsome, due to his charisma stats. He obtained a developed tone musculature with perfectly sculpted sexy abs after evolving from a Halfling into a Vampire. Ever since evolving into a vampire, Quinn's looks had slightly changed. He was no longer the weak, skinny frail him. His body had filled up, and he looked like he had a proportion of muscles all over. After becoming a Vampire, Quinn had grown a few inches in height to 6+ feet, his skin looked super smooth and had gone slightly pale. His face looked a little more masculine and has a more defined jawline. His curly hair stayed the same, but looked a lot less disheveled. The main protagonist of My Vampire System. He was a normal human boy before being turned to a vampire by a mysterious Book (System) which was left to him by his parents (mother). He is also the biological direct descendant of the former 10th Family - Eno Family's Vincent Eno as well as the Talen Family through their only human son. Quinn lived in a single bedroom apartment that had just enough space to fit a single bed, mini-fridge and desk. There was also a TV that was part of the wall, but Quinn would only use it as background noise and didn't actually watch anything. The apartment was provided to him by the government since he had no living relatives and was still only age 16. On top of his bed was a single suitcase that had all his belongings neatly packed. Quinn was given nothing when his parents died. The government (Under Eno's secret arrangement) agreed to pay for his living accommodation while he was still in school, but that was it. When his parents died at the age of 10, an agent appeared at his doorstep and handed him a large thick black Book weighing 0.5 kilos. He was told this was the only thing his parents possessed, which they passed down when they died. Because Quinn was orphaned young, his parents did not have the time to convey their family's Vampire ancestral secret to him. His family records and information from before his parents were permanently hidden even from the Military's top Oscar. Quinn's turning was by his blood activating his ancestral family's Vampire Book, originally created by Vincent Eno as a carrier for his basic vampire physiology (except the 10th Family's ability Which is equivalent exchange which is like whichery and doing the impossible) to become an aging Ability-Human then through complete sacrifice to have the Vampire Book become his descendant's vampire leader inheritance for a human-turned vampire protector of humanity in the unknown future. Due to the War between Humans and the Dalki, every person was required to go to military school for two years when they reached the age of 16. This began Quinn Talen's journey into the Vampire World and the secrets of Humanity.
