The Black Swordsman

He was a muscular man who has long black hair that was thick and went all the way down, almost scrapping the ground. He also wore a black cloak that looked like it was made out of the same black energy that was surrounding the sword. It covered his entire arms and pectorals but realized a solid midsection. He also had a quite menacing and scary appearance. Unlike other people with powerful auras, there was no pressure coming off of The Black Swordsman. This is how Russ Chain appeared when he used his ability to turn himself into The Black Swordsman.

He was first Introduced after Colonel Longblade gave the sword to Layla Munrow as a gift for saving his life with her healing powers, but he did not have an active voice at the time. The sword was able to transfer It's power to Layla making her stronger in battle, with the cost of plaguing her with horrible emotions as it did. It was later found out there was a soul trapped inside the sword. The soul would talk to Quinn Talen asking him if there was a way to transfer his spirit from the sword into a new body. During the conversation, Quinn and the spirit would make a deal, as long as the spirit continues to transfer it's power and energy to Layla to help her in Battle, Quinn would ask Shiro to transfer the spirit from the sword into a new body. It is unknown what his real name is, or how he was trapped inside the sword. The Black Swordman was given the name due to his appearance after Russ Chain use his ability to replicate the black swordsman's former self and powers to defeat Pine. Russ was able to use The Black Swordman's powers and the god slayer sword to it's full potential, and was able to defeat and kill Pine. The Black Swordsman was also at the god slayer level, potential making him one of the strongest swordsman in the universe. It was later discovered that Rex Immortui defeated him, but it is still unknown how he got inside the sword after his defeat other than the fact that he was tricked.
