Anna Croft is a staunch realist and a calculated strategist who values the survival of humanity above individual morality. She is highly intelligent, efficient, and observant, though she tends to be deeply suspicious and rarely trusts others completely, often relying on deception or withholding information to maintain control. While she harbors noble intentions of liberating mankind, her methods are frequently described as brutal and cold-blooded. Despite her outward composure and calm, she struggles when her plans are disrupted, exhibiting significant distress and a lack of adaptability when faced with variables she cannot predict.

Anna Croft is described as a short, elegant woman with blonde hair and distinct foreign features, possessing thin lips and a refined nose. Her demeanor is characteristically serene, featuring deep, mysterious eyes and a calm, dignified voice. Her most notable feature is her left eye, which is a Great Demon's Eye implant; it initially appeared with an ominous red swirl and later gained a prominent scar following the Great War of Constellations and Demons. She typically dresses in professional attire, such as a suit or jacket, and maintains a controlled, composed physical presence.

In the original Ways of Survival, Anna Croft was the only person with the Prophet attribute, allowing her to shape the world's future. She became a formidable incarnation, often clashing with Yoo Joonghyuk while seeking to overthrow the rule of the Star Stream. Over the course of numerous regressions, she accumulated deep knowledge of the future at a heavy personal cost. She eventually founded the organization Zarathustra to consolidate power, often prioritizing efficiency and strategic advantage over interpersonal relationships, leading to instances of betrayal against her own companions.
