Story Chapter 788-789 During the encounter between Grid and the Immortal Guild and Red Knights, Grid had summoned Piaro and Asmophel. Sky had witnessed the conversation between Mercedes and Asmophel. He was excited about being able to glimpse a hidden episode of the Red Knights. But Grid had ordered Kasim to assassinate him. On the way back to the palace, Mercedes had blocked a dagger aimed for Sky's neck. Mercedes told Kasim to assure the Overgeared King that she will handle it. She then dismissed Sky as her aide. Several notifications popped up telling Sky that he lost his qualifications for the second class 'First Knight's Aide' and all Red Knights quests currently in progress were destroyed. Sky felt extreme anger at Grid because he could no longer fulfill his goal of making Mercedes his slave. But after a moment, he started to feel fear instead of anger. He feared Grid's transcendent power that could destroy one person's life so easily.
