Chapter 26 - Fu ChunHua's Drama At The Dining Table "It's alright, drink your wine. You never wanted to give it to me in the first place." Fu Geming said to his daughter as he carried on with eating his deserts. Everyone chuckled softly, apart from Fu Hua who seemed to be absent-minded. "Hey! What are you thinking about?." YingPei asked in a low tone as he nudged Fu Hua with his arm. Fu Hua glanced at him as he replied, "Work." "Oh! Do you think about anything apart from work?." YingPei asked with creased brows. "I can see you are very free. Why don't you come and help out in the company? Come with your resume to the office on Monday, I will interview you personally." Fu Hua informed him before looking away. "What?!." ???? YingPei said in an audible tone, attracting the attention of the other members of the family. "What is it?." Fu Wei Lei asked with a frown. "It's nothing," YingPei replied quickly and added an apology. "YingPei, you have been idle since you came back, have you thought of what you eat to do?." Grandfather Fu asked with his gaze on him. YingPei let out a painful laugh as he replied, "No, grandfather I'm still adjusting to the environment. I will think of something later." "If you still don't know what to do with your life, go and join the Army." Grandfather Fu said to him and looked easy without another word. "What?! Grandfather are you joking?." YingPei said in surprise with his wide eyes. Grandfather Fu glared at him, totaling ignoring him. "Brother, help me out!." YingPei said to Fu Hua with gritted teeth. Fu Hua glanced at him before looking at their grandfather. "Grandfather, I already have work for him to do at the office. He would be joining us next week. There is much workload in the office since the Autumn show is coming up, we need more hands." Fu Hua said, speaking up for his brother. "If that is the case, he should join the company as soon as possible. But if I see him idling around, he will have to join the army." Grandfather Fu said in a final statement. "Thank you, Grandfather!." YingPei said gratefully. Fu Hee was relieved that her son wasn't going to join the army. Just now, she was scared when the old man gave that suggestion. "Thank your brother." Old Mr. Fu said to him. YingPei turned to Fu Hua with a smile on his face to say a word of thanks to him. "It's nothing, just stay out of trouble." Fu Hua said to him before minding his business. "Yes," YingPei replied as he nodded. Just now, Fu ChunHua was almost happy that YingPei was going to be sent to join the army, and then she would have something to gloat to Fu Hee about. "Grandfather, I want to help out for the Autumn show as well." Fu Meixu said to Grandfather Fu. "If you need help with anything that has to do with the company, meet Fu Hua, don't come to me." Grandfather Fu said to her. Fu Meixu sulked for being shunned by the old man. Swallowing her pride, she turned to Fu Hua to say with a sweet smile. "Brother Hua, can I join the models for the show?." "Tell your agency to submit your profile to the HR department if you are interested. If you meet the criteria, you will be informed and selected to be among the models for the show." Fu Hua said to her in a business tone. Fu Meixu looked annoyed as she thinned like a child. Fu ChunHua felt that Fu Hua had gone too far, and was being unjust to her daughter "Fu Hua, how can you treat your cousin that way? We are one family, you don't have to treat her like she is an outsider." Fu ChunHua spoke to Fu Hua like the righteous woman she was. "Aunty this is strictly, business. When it comes to the company, I can not bend the rules for anybody. If Meixu meets the criteria for the models needed for the show, I will make sure she gets in. But if she doesn't, she will have to try next time." Fu Hua said to her in a business-like tone. He didn't even bother to mince his words at all. "Fu Hua, this is so unfair. Look at how you're treating your cousin, is it fair? But just now, you said you already have a job for YingPei, but he didn't even follow the protocols of the company, this is unjust!." Fu ChunHua pointed out in anger "Aunty, you're getting it all wrong. My brother asked me to come to the company on Monday for an interview, so I'm definitely not getting into the company through the backdoor." YingPei explained with a smile. "Oh! You haven't taken the interview yet, but your brother already said to your grandfather that he has a job for you, what do you mean?!." Fu ChunHua said in a heavy tone. YingPei was speechless with his Aunt's drama. Everybody knew that Fu Hua just helped him out from being sent to the army and that's the reason he told grandfather Fu he already had a job offer for him. But now, it looks like his Aunt was making trouble for them. "ChunHua, what do you mean?. Before you accuse anybody, think if your words are making sense or not." Fu Hee said to her, shooting lasers from her eyes. Fu Hee very well knew what Fu ChunHua was driving at. She wanted to make trouble for her sons, but she would not allow her to succeed. "Oh! Now you think it's unfair for your sons that I say the truth?." Fu ChunHua said to Fu Hee before turning to Grandfather Fu to continue... "Father, you have to render justice. Fu Hua is partial with his treatment. He helps his blood brother to get into the company through the back door, but he refuses to help his cousin sister work for the company." YingPei wanted to say something, but Fu Hua stopped him, so YingPei could only keep quiet and wait for the old Man's verdict. Fu Geming tried to stop his wife from talking, but she wouldn't even listen to him, so he let her be. As for Fu Hee, she was very angry, but she couldn't do anything, and could only wait for the Old Man to speak.
