Tai Yinxi is the Commander of Sky Pass Legion and one of the most prominent characters in Immortal. Origin Tai Yinxi used to be a disciple of Five Elements. However, he wasn’t part of the main branch and he was either in a side branch or just an outer disciple. Nevertheless, Tai Yinxi did come from Five Elements. Five Elements was considered the strongest and most mysterious system in Immortal Lineage World. Thus, just this background alone made Tai Yinxi exceptional. This was still amazing enough because this sect rarely recruited disciples from the outside world. Maybe five or so in the last million years. Later on, he joined Academy of Light and truly stood out, becoming a great genius in that generation. and never bragged about his background. This made people question the validity of this rumor. The experiences in the academy established a strong foundation for him, whether it be his cultivation or his social network. This immensely aided him in becoming the commander of Sky Pass. Later on his cultivation advanced and became Supreme Everlasting, a being standing on the same level as a progenitor. A Half-step Everlastings is far inferior of him. Some grand-completion Everlastings or those a1t the peak of this realm only had the same seniority level and fame as a progenitor, not the power. However, Tai Yinxi has been at the supreme level for numerous years. He had the capabilities to fight progenitor. Therefore, his status was equal to the two contemporary progenitors (Luminous Master and Orchid Sage). Of course, it would be hard to know which of them was the strongest.
