Chapter 442: A Nice Night He immediately landed a chop on her head, making her recoil in shock. "Ow... ow... Ow..." Gwendolyn said, and with every shake of her body, her breasts bounced dramatically. She rubbed her scalp while looking at him with a pout that was half-offended and half-playful. "You don’t want them?" ’Not interested.’ He thought while looking away, refusing to indulge her. At the same moment, he could hear the synchronized harrumphs of agreement from the goddess’s voices in his head. They really were cute, especially when they got possessive. He exhaled and immediately laid back on the bed, staring at the dim window. Somehow, while everything had been hectic, time had slipped past without him noticing. The sky was already dark. ’Time passes by a lot quickly when you don’t pay attention.’ He thought, letting the exhaustion sink into his limbs. Then... A burst of cold wind slammed into his face like someone had opened a freezer right in front of him. He sat up with a small flinch, looking toward the window. The wind had taken hold instantly, making the entire room cold as ice. It was that kind of brutal cold wind that followed a storm... except there were no storm clouds, no warning... no nothing. It was just sudden freezing air. Azel leaned out and shut the window in one quick motion, but the damage had already been done... the room temperature dropped drastically. "I guess the girls weren’t lyin—" A sudden ruckus erupted from the bathroom. Something clattered and then... The door burst open. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺 The two girls scurried out in a flustered mess, barely wearing anything except soaked clothing... and by "clothing" Mynes was down to her bra and panties, both drenched and transparent, and Mira who was usually composed and stoic wore soaked casuals that clung to every curve of her toned frame. "The place got cold really quickly... and I didn’t pack a towel." Mynes said breathlessly as she walked toward the clothesline at the side of the room. Then, shamelessly and without hesitation, she reached behind her back and unclasped her bra, taking it off. She squeezed water out of it over a bucket on the ground, droplets pattering loudly. Then she looped it over the clothesline to dry. After that, she hooked her thumbs into her panties and slid them off as well, squeezing them over the bucket too. She used one hand to cover her breasts and the other to cover her ass as she turned her head toward Azel. Azel looked away instantly but not fast enough. She noticed the faint red tint warming his cheeks. ’This means he reacted.’ Mynes thought with inward brightness. For a moment, she had worried that her body wasn’t good enough for him. This tiny reaction was everything to her. Mira went next. She walked to the bucket with composed steps. Then she took off her shirt, revealing her toned abdomen and two perfectly shaped perky breasts. Water dripped down her skin, glistening under the lamp light. She squeezed her shirt out and hung it over the line beside Mynes’s. Just then, Mynes reached out and grabbed one of her breasts with a playful squeeze. "You really have good boobs, Mira. Your armor was pressing it dow—" Mynes froze. Mira’s face was red... completely red and she hadn’t made any movements yet. ’Is she not going to hit me? Mira shoulder-checked her with the force of a trained Knight Commander, sending Mynes flying into the bed and crashing directly into Azel. "Ahh!" Mynes yelped as Azel’s hands instinctively grabbed the sides of her body to stabilize her. Her skin was wet, chilled, but where his fingers touched her... it was warm. The contrast made her shiver. ’His fingers... they’re so warm...’ she thought, her face pink. Azel didn’t hesitate. He lifted her... not gently and threw her off the bed, sending her tumbling onto the floor. "Hey! You don’t treat a Maiden like that." "You’re going to get the whole bed wet. Towel yourself off." Azel said and, without looking at her, threw a towel in her direction. It slapped her in the face with a very specific scent. "Hey... the towel smells like you." Mynes muttered as she stood and began wiping her body. "Did you give me yours?" "Just finish up." Azel settled back on the bed with an exhale. Mira, now without clothes as well, cast a serious look toward Mynes while drying herself with the towel. Just as Mynes was about to return Azel’s towel, Mira reached out and snagged it with perfect precision. "Azel, you don’t mind if I use your towel as well?" Mira asked calmly. Azel shook his head. "I’m fine with it." He had meant to throw a different towel earlier... but apparently his own had become a communal resource. As Mira toweled herself from head to toe, Azel took steady breaths. Mira then sprayed herself with a perfume, a floral scent that drifted through the room and made the cold atmosphere strangely pleasant. Finally, his towel which was warm from their bodies landed on him. He quickly sucked it into his storage ring to keep some dignity intact. Mira moved first, climbing onto the left side of the bed which was the side closer to the window. Mynes climbed onto the right, immediately taking his right hand and pushing herself closer to him like someone staking a claim. Then Mira opened the window, letting another wave of icy wind seep in. "Ah... why?" Azel asked. "I love the cold... but warmth isn’t so bad either." Mira said softly, then cleared her throat. "Alright, take off your clothes." Azel blinked. "What?" "Mynes and I have done the same, so you must." Mira said firmly. There was no room for negotiation. Azel didn’t even argue. He simply exhaled, took off his shirt, revealing his toned body, and tossed it toward the mirror. When he reached under the covers for his trousers, he noticed something unusual. They were already gone. ’Eh?’ "Oh..." Mynes rubbed the back of her head guiltily. "We didn’t know how to... you know... get your trousers on like that." She nudged closer. "But at least you don’t have to strip up." Mira pressed closer as well, settling beside him. The combined warmth of their bodies made the cold disappear entirely. Slowly, one by one, they drifted asleep beside him. Even while he slept, Gwendolyn stood at the window, watching them. ’I guess I better take this opportunity to look around this place more...’ She thought as she floated out like the ghost she was. ’It’s really changed unlike centuries ago.’ ... It was morning. The knock on the building’s door echoed through the space. Mira woke first. She blinked, stretched, and glanced down. Azel and Mynes lay on the right side of her, all of them were without clothes and their bodies were tangled lightly beneath the sheets. She swallowed. It was... warm and safer than she expected. Then she looked down again and froze. Azel’s crotch had tented upward, raising the sheets like a flag. ’Is this what men call... morning wood?’ she thought, staring. ’It was big when we saw it limp yesterday... and now it’s even bigger.’ The knocks grew louder. Mira carefully stepped off the bed. Her clothing from the night before was now dry. She reached for her shirt... then paused. Azel’s shirt was right there on the mirror. She took it and wore it instead, the oversized fabric draping down to her thighs. Then she walked out. Reaching the front door, she opened it revealing the teleportation mage standing there. "Knight Commander Mira... that shirt is awfully big—" Mira slammed the door in his face. WHAM! He recoiled with a yelp. She opened it again a second later, glaring down at him. "You’re late." she said coldly. "Care to explain why?"
