The Peacemaker floated in the folds of collapse and madness, his gaze locked on the far distance where he could still hear the constant bombardment of the place he once called home. Home. He had gone from one infinite tower to the next until he finally escaped the bounds of an entire weaving of a Prime Frequency. He sought peace, and yet… complete peace always managed to elude him. "I want to help…" His voice was little more than a whisper, but the moment the words left him, his chest buzzed and vibrated as the Enneagram spun in reply. |Such a thing is ill-advised at this moment. Your complexity is far too low to change the outcome. It is not in line with your peace. And the weavings of another have already moved at this moment, tremendously minimizing the loss of life in this eventual outcome.| …! The words were calm, monotone in nature, and yet it was his voice that echoed back—his own…yet not. The Enneagram. They became silent at its words, eyes still fixed on the distance where the weavings of a living wheel of existence bled into the Nullvein Gravewake Folds. Its location no longer bound in a unique folding of existence and nonexistence. Its Infinite Ravines torn and bleeding alongside it. And now—now the allure of a genuine white-gold wheel of existence began to bloom across the obsidian chaotic folds. It was being laid out in the open. Bare for all to see. "When will it be enough? When can things finally and fully align…with my peace?" The helplessness pressing into his chest was suffocating. Everyone he was intimately entangled with- all those from his realm, even Megalos, where he'd spent most of his time progressing, were contained within his Enneagram. Shielded by it. Held under its umbrella. But watching the decimation of the place that once housed his Megalos and his Frequency…that was a hard thing to do. And the answer that came from the Enneagram was as monotone as always. |When I am complete. When you are complete. The Folds are endlessly vast. Many possible materials are scattered in different weavings of the Living and the Dead. Moving from here will allow this completion to progress even faster, albeit things will be more dangerous. A single step in the wrong Folds could put you in peril.| The Enneagram stated. The Peacemaker's gaze turned hazy as his eyes gradually lit with clarity and quiet resolve. He turned to face the endless directions of the Fold. "What are you?" It was a question he'd asked countless times before, and today, just before receiving an answer, he left the umbrella of the wheel of existence he had called home. |I am you. A possibility and potential of what could be. An intricate construct capable of freely traversing the Folds.| …! The words lingered in the air as they rang out, and the figure of the Peacemaker silently disappeared. His heart was not at peace. Not yet. And so, he moved, desperate to find it- desperate for redemption through his own personal weavings. WAP! He vanished completely. And in that stretch of the Folds, a massive white-gold Wheel became fully unclothed and visible, its sheer size utterly unfathomable. Yet now, it pulsed and radiated a light of transformation…as if it were about to become, or attempt to become, something far more unfathomable than before. Whether it succeeded or failed was unknown. But at this moment… In the depths of this Wheel of Existence… Inside the Prime Frequency of Flames… BOOM! A deathly gray brilliance spread all around as eldritch fire crackled and splintered. A massive tear bloomed across the expanse of this frequency. And the figure of none other than the 9th Mawbearer of the Dissonant Echo, Melodrass, appeared. His gaze shifted immediately, drawn to a particular direction. There. Noah floated serenely, adorned in a white-gold emperor's robe. His hands were folded behind his back, his entire posture etched in calm solemnity as he nodded at the arrival of the terrifying Dead Thing. "You are looking for me." TRRING! The words had barely left his lips when a terrifying string of deathly weavings exploded outward, and Melodrass's voice echoed. "I am looking for you. But the version of you that is here…is not what I'm looking for." Paradoxical. But for Melodrass, the words made perfect sense. Because the Noah that stood here was paradox itself. The terrifying chord that erupted from Melodrass caused Noah's newly formed body—one holding the True Source of Paradox, to buzz violently before being torn apart, forcefully dissipated. But then… Even before Melodrass could move again, the entire Prime Frequency of Flames buzzed... ...and hundreds of Noah's bodies reformed, blooming from the void. With them came millions of miniature particles of white-gold wheels, blooming outward as the Living True Source of the Singed awakened all around. The Infinite Ravines were ravaged, torn apart. Even the mechanisms that once held a True Source within this place…were torn asunder. But even if they hadn't been, once Noah had amalgamated a True Source and brought it to life, he could utilize it wherever he wished. And now, hundreds of his bodies bloomed, wielding such a terrifying Living True Source freely, seeking to encompass and delay the weavings of Melodrass, if only for a moment. Melodrass looked over all of Noah's bodies…and shook his head. "You seek to keep me here. But for what? I will eventually find your true paradox. All of this? It will be for naught." As he spoke, Melodrass didn't release another chord. Instead…he opened his mouth. And that simple act alone unleashed a terrifying Mythic True Signature, beginning its manifestation. And just from that first rising of the signature... A blast of deathly brilliance exploded, instantly flooding the entire Prime Frequency of Flames and obliterating every last one of Noah's bodies and the blooming Living Flames they carried. Melodrass… Was just that astonishingly powerful.
