Chapter 2176: Destroying The Steles I could not let it finish the strengthening of its core. These bastards are very dangerous and have the power to tilt the whole war; I have to kill it, but before I even thought of doing that, I should first destroy those steles. I moved my gaze at the nine steles, and my eyes couldn't help but become a serious couple of seconds later. The Grimm bastard has come very prepared; not only does it bring a huge entourage of powerful Grimm powerhouses with the lead of vidette, but it also has brough these freaking steles. These are not any rare artifacts; in fact, it is made by Grandmaster with the energy of hundreds of masters poured into them. These steles had made for this ruin with Master limit in mind and used a Master class resources with power above their level and changed with a huge amount of Masters energy, which's amount even greater than what a regular Grandmaster would have. I understood this thing is with a rudimentary understanding I have about Grimm runes and rule-bending power, which allowed me to look deeply, and that made me understand how hard it is to break these steles. The structure of these steles was kept simple as possible and infused with so much brute power that even Grandmaster would have a hard time breaking this energy shield which is made of Master class energy. It felt like someone had created it with especially me, in their mind. Complex things are easier to break, as you just have to destroy a small important part of them, and the whole thing will break apart. I could not do something like that with these steles; I would have to destroy the thirty-two parts within each stele before I could break them. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺 Though I could design something which could make the process faster, it is still going to take hours, half a day at least. Still, it is something. Who knows, the process might last long for days or days seeing the Grimms arrived in the ruin a week ago. So, I might still be able to stop it from fully taking advantage of that yellow rock and will give my everything after that to kill this bastard later. With the plan made, I did not waste time and used 95% of my focus on my core to design the formation, which took one and half hours for me inside my core which is about half an hour outside. As I was done creating formation, I took out the air-pen and chose one of several inks I had already placed inside it, and started drawing out runes. Hundreds of runes begin to come out of it every second; they come out as soon as I picture them in my mind. This air-pen, it is a high-level one. If I could picture the runes faster, it would spew them faster. The pen could draw thousands of runes every second. A minute passed, then two, soon twelve minutes passed by, and I am finally finished growing the formation, which is not only around the energy sphere made of steles but also around it, covering it from all the sides. Buzz! I placed powerful energy resources on the formation before sitting on it and activating it. The next second, the formation lights up and begins its assault on all the nine steles together. The Werewolf stopped for a second before it resumed forming the seals as what was happening did not affect it at all. Its confidence did not give me a good feeling, but I did not stop my assault on these steles. I attacked them with as much power I could, wanting to break the first of thirty-two power points in each stele. I was successful in breaking the first power points in sixteen minutes; it was a nice surprise as I had thought it would take me twenty-five to thirty minutes to do that. Its all because I have noticed some things during that attack and modified formation, making it more effective. It immediately reduced the time, I needed to break the steles by half, but it did not make me happy. I also noticed that the yellow rock that Werewolf is sucking up also shrinking rapidly, and if it continues to shrink at such speed, it won't take longer than three hours for it to completely disappear. This might complete the strengthening it had come to this ruin for and would defeat the reason for what I am doing. Unfortunately, I could not do anything other than continue with my assault and hope I would be able to deduce the effective way to break those power points and shorten the time to destroy the stele by a lot. Time passed by, and within an hour, I was able to destroy eight points of the stele, which is a lot more than what I initially planned to accomplish when I designed the formation but much less than what I needed. Within an hour, one-third of the yellow rock vanished, and with this speed, in two hours rest of the rock would also vanish. I continued with even greater gusto, breaking one point after another that, half an hour later, I needed only five to seven minutes to break each point on every stele, but still behind the Werewolf. Before I knew it, the yellow rock had vanished, completely absorbed by the Werewolf. It did not get up, and I thought there was still something it had to do, but my hopes got dashed as the next second, its bloodline phantom disappeared into it, and it got up before turning into. Seeing me, a great surprise flashed in its and that surprise turned to shock when it looked at the state of steles. It continued looking at them for a couple of seconds before it waved its hands toward them. The steles deactivate at its command before they fly toward it and disappear into its storage. "It seemed like your runic talent is far greater than we have assumed, destroying fortress steles at such level within three hours, only Grandmaster could accomplish this feat, and that is with brute force," It said as it turned at me with a friendly smile on its huge face.
