The bloodline phantom tried to break the runic chains covering it, but it was utterly unsuccessful, just like the old snake outside, whose attacks are not able to do anything against my shield other than make them ripple. With the soul being one, I know everything that is happening outside; I can always assume control if things become dangerous. I begin to experiment on the sample of the curse; I am being extremely careful, as it is no normal curse but something that is made using the blood of the primary-II powerhouse. I will love it if I get my hands on even a single drop of blood or even a diluted sample which isn't mixed with any regent. It would help me tremendously, not only in solving this curse but also in predicting the true power of the primary-II stage powerhouse, which in turn would benefit me in studying the primary-II inheritance. It is very difficult to find anything that will give any hint into the power of the primary-II stage, as anything that appears to get destroyed by the world. Which is the reason why the old snake had diluted the blood so much and even weakened its power; that now, it had barely crossed the boundary of the Tyrant stage; it is powerful to affect anything below the Tyrant class hard, but not enough to attract the attention of the world. I was doing the experiments when I saw the Yrefd turning into a husk, as every drop of its essence had been harvested. Buzz! A moment after that, the core buzzed, and the powerful strengthening energies resealed into my runes and spread through my body, rapidly increasing my strength. Yrefd, like Aege, was a new Grand Lord; both of them have about similar power, but still, this power was huge; even after experiencing once, I have still got shocked by the speed; it is increasing, but I quickly controlled my emotions and focused on the reward, I had gotten, not long ago. "I hope it works," I muttered, seeing the seed rapidly absorbing growth energy and, at the same time, a huge amount of astral energies from the dome surrounding it. I had thought I would be quite a while before I got my hands on another Grimms, but less than an hour later, I had another Grimm with a bloodline in my core. It is a great opportunity to grow resources, so I would not miss it; thus, I have buried the seed into core soil which had been mixed with special soil, I had created to plant a few astral plants some time ago and covered it with astral funneling formation, inside which I have added highest quality pure-astral stone. If I had time, I would have worked very detailly on the seed, but I don't know how long it would take for me to capture another Grimm with a bloodline, and I don't want to wait long, considering the use of astral mist sunflower have for me. For thirteen seconds, there was no change in the seed; it just kept absorbing the growth energy and massive amount of astral energy, that I wanted to restrict it from getting any more of growth energy. Every drop of it is precious, and there are many other resources I need to grow with it. At the fourteenth second, the change in the seed occurred; it began to germinate; seeing that, a smile couldn't help but appear on my face, and all the tension on it vanished. For a few moments, I feared the seed might not germinate because other seeds would not even take a second with the level of growth energy, while this one took more than ten seconds. The blue astral mist came out of the ground, and a few seconds later, it's shoot pieces through; it was a green plant with silvery astral lines all over it. With it taking growth energy and a huge amount of astral energy, it did not stop as it came out of the soul and kept growing, getting bigger at every second; in a matter of few seconds, it had grown over a meter taller and reached the Tyrant class, and still growing. I am happy seeing it growing, but my heart is also bleeding, seeing the amount of growth energy it is taking; it is more than the majority of the plants. It is taking nearly as much energy as those stainless lotuses, which is something considering they are number two when it comes to consuming energy, and now, this sunflower has come to challenge the spot. I had thought the huge amount of growth energies provided by harnessing the Grand Lord would be enough for me to provide all the resources I need, but that does not seem to be the case. I need a massive number of resources, and they all need to be in Grand Lord's class. I will need to kill a lot of Grimms Grand Lords with bloodlines for such a massive amount of growth energy; the did not have that many Grand Lords, not to mention I will not be able to kill such a large number. There are other options, ruins; there are runes where I can find the Grand Lord class resources, but those places are dangerous. Not to mention, there are places that provide resources above that of the level of Grand Lord, but not many people have gone there, and for those who have gone there, very few had come to return to tell the tale. Lord Gatlin had gone to one of such runes, even in the outer stages of that ruin, he got a parasite into him that had nearly killed him. The plant finally reached the Grand Lord class, and the moment it did, the sunflowers began to bloom. These astral sunflowers are not huge, each one is half the size of my hand, covered in blue cosmic energy, but I could still see the round of transparent glittering seeds and violet astral petals that surrounded it. There are nine sunflowers bloomed across the single tree, which are currently enough for my needs, but soon, I will need more. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂 I would need to plant a few more trees with seeds from this sunflower, but getting the growth energy to grow them would be a problem as it is not the only plant I have to grow. In this round of growth energy, I have taken more than twenty plants above the Grand Lord class, which includes my regulars like metal essence tree and stainless lotus. I had to provide them with energy and replenish the resources, as I have given seven eleven metal essence fruits and sixteen stainless lotuses. Though the amount of growth energy I have provided the plants was half of the last time, as I have said, I have other resources to grow too. There is still a lot of growth energy remaining, and it is making many plants grow; I controlled the flow and focused back on the curse. It is hard, but I was able to do that; I have already spent time directing the energy when there are more important things to do. Like saving the Grand Lords.
