His wings were so big they covered the hall. Fire spit out of his mouth with every breath. "I am declaring war!" the dragon roared. His voice was like thunder. "I will kill everyone here!" "Every one of you will be buried with my son!" Ren was too scared to attack Ethan directly. So he aimed his anger at Rose and her family. "You caused this!" he hissed at Rose. "You will die today!" The dragon took a deep breath. He started to pull in all the energy from the air. He was getting ready to use his strongest move. The Dragon Breath. This move could turn a whole city into ash. "Get down!" the other leaders in the room shouted. They were terrified. They knew how strong a Fire Dragon’s breath was. Rose, her sister Zara, and their friend Erina turned pale. They felt the heat and knew they couldn’t survive it. Melida jumped in front of them. She threw up a magic shield to protect them. But her hands were shaking. She didn’t know if she could stop a dragon. But they didn’t need to worry. Ethan was way too angry to let the dragon finish. In an instant, Ethan vanished again. He reappeared high in the air. Right in front of the dragon’s giant face. He looked tiny compared to the monster. But he didn’t look scared at all. "You lizard," Ethan said. Before Ren could even react to the words. Boom! The air itself seemed to explode. The giant dragon, an Eternal Sovereign level beast, was simply erased. He didn’t leave a body behind. He vanished into nothingness, just like his son. Ethan floated in the air for a moment. Then he landed softly on the ground. He straightened his clothes. He looked around. The room was silent. Every person there was looking at him with total fear. The prince was dead. The dragon was dead. And Ethan hadn’t even broken a sweat. Ethan looked at Rose and gave a small nod. The danger was over.
