Jack Truedream

Jack is entitled believing the world belongs to his whims. In chapter 1464 Jack had blamed his circumstances on the people involved including Quinn who had displayed his shadow ability and Jack wanted to steal, the Blades for defeating him and destroying his faction and the military despite their minimal involvement in the situation. He also displays an excellent ability of manipulation and drawing others to his cause, he has said this was his most important trait as he is unable to use the stolen abilities just transfer them to others. Jack dislikes his abilities limitation to transfer or steal abilities via a kiss which is why he gets his subordinates to put the victims to sleep whilst he performs the action on them. However, he does disclose his attraction to Erin Heley when he steals her ability and says he looks forwards to kissing her. Ability Ability Steal (Ability) - Jack's ability is to transfer and store abilities from others using a kiss. Jack's ability leaves the person that he has stolen the ability from incapable of learning another ability. The amount of abilities that he is capable of storing is dependent on the strength of the abilities, with the higher ranked

Jack during the war had originally approached the military, displaying his power. The military, realizing it could be used to stop criminals or others that were using their abilities for nefarious purposes used him to take the abilities from those people away. Slowly, Jack gained influence in the military and started his own faction. The faction and Jack continued to be supported by the military due to him being a big deterrent for using abilities for nefarious purposes, which kept the world in a semi-ordered state. After so many years, the deterrent had been very effective, to the point where there were not enough criminals for Jack to steal abilities from to support his Truedream faction. As Jack had a good relationship with Oscar White the supreme commander and particularly his general Duke King. Duke would set up students either with strong powers and no background with which someone would complain or investigate to have their abilities stolen by Jack, they were then taken to the dungeon where they would often disappear with the military claiming they were part of Pure. First introduced in the novel after the death of one of his family members in a red portal world under strange circumstances. He goes to military base 2 to investigate and asks them to prepare a group of students with no notable backgrounds so that he can steal their abilities. Duke makes the selection oh the group of students, which included Peter Chuck and Erin Heley. As Peter was at the time a tier 1 Earth user, he was given the earth ability books with the intention that he would have the ability stolen from him by Jack. When the time came, Peter had recently turned into a ghoul so he no longer had his original abilities. Although Quinn, working together with Fex, Logan, Layla, and Vorden, managed to rescue both Peter and Erin, they came too late to save Erin from having her power stolen. Jack, angry that 2 students had been rescued, and he had been humiliated, suspected it was the terrorist group Pure and told the military that they must find the 2 students and send them to him. When Peter was found with a transformation ability disguised as another student, Jack plotted to have Peter join the Inter Base Tournament and have him beat to death in front of everyone to hopefully anger and draw out Pure so he can get revenge against them.
