"Arghh!" Saiber had leapt forward, with both of his daggers stabbing one of the werewolves in the chest. Two of the other Altered hunters had used a special type of wire to wrap around the two legs and then they pulled at the same time. The force of all three of these things caused the Werewolf to fall to the ground, and Saiber now on top of him was pulling out the daggers and stabbing the Werewolf in the chest constantly. Sweat was running down his face as he continued to stab. "Arghh, you damned Alter... always ruining everyone's lives!" Lifting both of the daggers up Saiber stabbed them both at the same time, and he was done. There was no more energy that he could exert. He was so focused on the Werewolf in front of him, he was also unaware of the current situation as well, as a hunter went by his side. "Saiber!" The hunter called out. "It's done… it's done, that was the last one." "The last one." Saiber softly said as he looked around. The Altered hunters that had come with them, there were nine of them in total, ten if it included himself. They had lost two on the boat which meant they had managed to do it. The Werewolves were down, they were no longer fighting, and no more were coming their way either. They had managed to survive. "The sudden attack, there were more here than we thought, but we managed to do it." Saiber looked to the sky in relief, until he heard someone else ask a question that he had forgotten about. "Wait, what happened to the Ironfang? Didn't I see him arrive? Saiber, did you manage to finish him off, where's its body?" The hunter asked. Saiber then turned to look into the direction of the thick Garden. It was the last time he had seen him, the rookie and the Ironfang go off together. He had been so focused along with the rest of the hunters on just their survival he didn't even know what was happening anymore. But one thing was clear, the fighting, it had stopped between the two. "Was the garden always like this, the glass and everything it's smashed." One of the hunters noticed. "I did feel something during the fight, but I have no idea what it was, and how was Saiber able to take care of the Ironfang, did the other Altered hunters arrive as backup?" "Wait a second, aren't we missing someone, where's the rookie?" They eventually asked. —— Deep in the garden, Gary was staring at the Ironfang. There was a strange feeling overcoming him since he had defeated him. Because, when the two of them had fought, it felt natural for Gary. It felt like he was fighting against an enemy he had known for a long time. Yet that wasn't the case. He knew nothing about this man, he knew he was part of the Lupus gang but that was it, there was no direct bad blood between the two. Yet during the fight, Gary knew that the Ironfang would do whatever it could to win the fight between the two of them. So Gary had fought as much as he could as well. He didn't use his full force, such as his Shadow Ash Lycan form, or even much of his skills, because there was no need to. The feeling he felt, it made him wonder, if this was what everyone he had met had talked about. How two Alphas couldn't coexist. Was it just in their nature to go against each other. Putting that to the side, Gary started to think about the Lupus group as a whole. 'I wonder, if I didn't have fire resistance if the fight would have been harder? Although this Ironfang was easy, it could be due to my special traits that I have earned. I shouldn't think that all the Ironfangs will be easy like this.' When looking at the body of the Ironfang there was one thing that was disappointing but it was also something that Gary had expected. 'The system hasn't come up with the bonus quest, which means even if I consume his body, then it won't give me additional stat points.' It was expected after how strong Gary had grown. He imagined he would now have to consume someone even stronger than Harvor, and he just didn't think that was going to happen. Regardless he did head down, and started to eat part of Rex's body, because he needed his energy to be at a hundred percent. 'I know I've done this before, but it just feels strange… is it because it's another werewolf, is that the reason?' Gary didn't take more than he had to, as he wanted to leave the body be as in as peaceful a state as possible. So those that still cared for him, could have the send-off they wanted with the body. Looking at this moment, it really made Gary realise that he had come a long way, as he never imagined he would be doing this type of thing. Walking back through the forest, Gary was in his regular clothing. It stretched back tight on his body, and eventually coming through the Garden, he could see them all, all members of the Altered hunters, including that of Saiber. "Ah, they managed to survive. That's good, I was worried that you guys wouldn't have the energy left to fight." Gary said as he moved forward. But he noticed that all of them took a step back, and drew their weapons to face him.
