Description
Cheon Inji is the former 22nd Lord of the Great Heavenly Demon Divine Cult and grandfather to Cheon Yeo Woon. He was also the last person of his generation to have passed the sixth test of the Demonic Academy over 70 years ago.
Cheon Inji took pride in being a member of the Heavenly Demon Divine Cult, so much so that he was willing to risk his life to protect it from the Blade God Six Martial Clan. He also respected the strong, as he formed a friendly rivalry with Saint Gu-Jung of the righteous Shaolin Temple, because he was the only man to defeat him in combat. He had disdained the politics of the Six Clans and wanted to get rid of it. Cheon Inji was strict towards his own children, but he is proud of his grandchild, Cheon Yeo Woon.
Cheon Inji has the face of an old man with long gray hair that was once dark brow with white eyebrows and a long white beard. After the Dragon Turtle subjugation, he was cleaned and revealed his face full of wrinkles. The lightning seemed to have burned away everything from his hair, eyebrows, and beard, but the majestic appearance of the Former Lord of the Demonic Cult didn’t disappear.
The son of 21st Lord, Cheon Ma-Jong, Cheon Inji was considered the most powerful warrior of the cult in the past 500 years and had enlarged the territory of the Demonic Cult larger than anyone else before, claiming victory against the Forces of Evil and Justice. Even one of the five strongest warriors, King Han Yen, who was called a ferocious monarch, was unable to beat him and the Force of Evil got pushed back to the West during the war. He was the previous holder of the title, Southern Demon Lord but disappeared for over 20 years prior to the beginning of the story. He ordered Marakyum that if he did not return within 10 years, Marakyum should teach Twent Four Demon Sword Art to the true descendants of the Sword Demon's former pupils in the sect leaders of Sword Clan, Dark Clan, and Hazy Demon Sword Clan It is revealed that Cheon Inji was friends with Saint Gu-Jung of the Shaolin Temple. It started when Cheon Inji, who was full of spirit and energy, tried to move to the north, the place of the Yulin, just as the previous Lords of the Demonic Cult had done. Whenever Inji suffered from political affairs or had concerns, he would meet up with Gu-jung and talk about the deep dissatisfactions he had. One day, Chun Inji headed to the promised place to meet with Saint Gu-jung and waited for a fortnight but was unable to meet him. He found out that Saint Gu-hung went to Anhui Fortress to search for missing leaders. Chun Inji head to find Saint Gu-jung and found traces of the Extreme Art of the Blade God and Shaolin Temple technique from the missing leader (technique used was a lot lower than Gu-jung's level) fighting each other. Eventually, Inji was able to find Saint Gu-jung struggling to fight with an unknown master in the west of Zhejiang province. Chun Inji joined the fight and, although it took a while, they were able to defeat the enemy. Inji then learnt of the existent of Eun Jarim, a secret organization
