Huan Yi

Huan Yi usually wears a mask of a handsome man with makeup resembling that of a woman. In the begin of the story, his face is covered with white powder, his lips painted red, and red eye shadow is drawn on the upper eyelids. He wears red silk clothes embroidered with yellow butterflies and ties his hair up secured with a hairpin. In the later part of the story, his makeup becomes more subtle. He adds two beauty marks under his eyes as decoration, and red eye shadow is applied on both the upper and lower eyelids. His hairstyle also changes to a high ponytail.

The reason why Huan Yi covers his face with a mask was because his clan is tasked covert operations and intelligence gathering for the Cult. Due to this reason, none besides the Lord has seen his face due to always wearing a mask. He has very female characteristics and personality because of his breathing technique. This made it so their clan members had to be castrated at a young age. The first place Cheon Yeo Woon went to after passing the sixth test and leaving the academy is the manor of the Flying Phantom Clan, to get approval of 11th Council Elder at that time. Upon the arrival of Cheon Yeo Woon, Huan Yi pretended to be the adviser of the Clan Leader and introduced himself as Nhu Ya Yeon. However, he didn't allow the entry of Yeo Woon's members but lately agreed to let Mun Ku come in as well. After arriving at the office in the guest house, they were surprised to see 7 Huan Yi at the office. He respectfully introduced himself as the 11th Elder and Yeo Woon replied to an introduction as well. Mun Ku also greeted where he belatedly replied and slightly talk about the mask, he gave to her. Yeo Woon then directly asked if he knows the reason for the visit and requested to be treated as Vice-Lord Candidate. He replied that he was treating him as that from the start and started to say that as Elders, they can test the Vice-Lord if he/she is worthy for the approval. He then talked about the test that is about the observation skill of Yeo Woon and tasked the latter to find the real 'him' in the area while pointing at the other six men with the same face.
