Along the way, her entourage was attacked and drugged by the Blade God clan. During the banquet at the Demonic Cult, Jegal Sohi and other martial artists are hypnotized by the Blade God clan to attack the Demonic cult, using the scuffle as a distraction to steal the Sword Demon's legacy. The Vice Lord of the Demonic Cult, Cheon Yeo Woon thwarts the raid, and discovers traces of the drug used. After the incident, Jegal Sohi is left impressed by the abilities of Cheon Yeo Woon. Later after the incident which left Yeon Buso without his right arm, she came to hate him for doing so to her fiance. But she did not wish to mix her personal feelings into matters regarding their alliance with the cult as she deemed it foolish.
