Description

Hades, also known as the Father of the Rich Night, is the king of the Underworld and a prominent figure within the Star Stream. As one of the three major gods of Olympus, he possesses immense power and authority. Despite his reputation as a cold ruler, he is deeply devoted to his wife, Persephone, and acts as a hidden adversary to the other Olympians. He maintains a complex, caring relationship with his adopted son, Kim Dokja. He is famously introverted and reticent, preferring to act in secrecy against the 12 gods of Olympus.

He is introverted, reticent, and protective of his domain, often killing intruders on sight. While he presents a stern and distant demeanor, he is secretly caring and deeply devoted to those he holds dear, particularly his wife and adopted son. He is known to be a pragmatic strategist who works in the shadows to subvert the plans of the Olympian gods. Despite his stoic nature, he is capable of nagging his wife and showing genuine heartbreak regarding the cyclical nature of their existence across different scenario rounds.

Appearance

Hades is often described as resembling darkness itself, manifesting as a form of shadow. When interacting with Persephone, this dark form is described as warm. He is characterized by pure white skin and obsidian eyes that appear to penetrate the existence of those he looks upon.

Backstory

Hades is one of the oldest myths in existence, originating outside the traditional scope of Olympus despite his status. He has long harbored a desire for a child and a successor to inherit his legacy. Throughout the various rounds of Ways of Survival, he remains the most solitary constellation. He maintains a deep, egalitarian partnership with Persephone, sharing the governance of the Underworld with her. His character is marked by a long-standing resentment toward the 12 gods of Olympus and a disapproval of the Gigantomachia festival.
