Description

Incarnations are the primary participants within the Star Stream scenarios, originating from various planetary systems throughout the universe. They are mortal beings who begin their journey without any Status, stories, or coins, forced to participate in scenarios for survival. As they progress, they accumulate wealth, power, and narrative importance by completing scenarios and performing notable feats. Incarnations possess a Status that can eventually lead them to transcend their mortality and become constellations if they gather sufficient legendary stories. Their growth is governed by Attributes, Skills, Stigmas, and base Stats, which can be improved through coin expenditure and experience. They often form vital sponsorship contracts with constellations to gain additional power and support during their trials.

Incarnations are highly varied in personality as they originate from countless different worlds and cultures. Their behavior is often shaped by their personal attributes, which reflect their past careers, natural inclinations, and psychological traits. They are generally defined by their drive to survive within the scenarios and their ambition to accumulate power and stories.

Appearance

As incarnations are drawn from diverse planetary systems across the universe, there is no single physical form for the species. Most incarnations featured in the story are human or possess humanoid forms, but their physical diversity is as broad as the number of species existing within the Star Stream.

Backstory

Incarnations are individuals drawn from various planetary systems into the Star Stream. Upon entering the scenarios, they start with no power or status and must navigate increasingly difficult tests devised by the Dokkaebis. They undergo evolution by acquiring stories through legendary performances and increasing their base stats. Throughout their journey, they may choose to form contracts with powerful constellations, gaining stigmas and patronage. The ultimate goal for many is to ascend to the status of a constellation, though many perish during the arduous scenario process.
