Hell Gao

Description

Hell Gao Gallery Monster that summons a sea of flames. Information Among the Great Demons, he is the 9th strongest. Even if all Great Demons below the 15th rank came at him at once, he would be unharmed. He frequently materializes on Cokro Island using Fire Stones and the bodies of Demonkin. This form of his is significantly weaker than his main body in Hell. Even with that body, he is still several levels stronger than weaker Great Demons who come to the human world.

Personality

Due to his status as a high-ranking Great Demon, he is not easily fazed by people. He treats most people as ordinary, shrugging off whatever they do with ease. If he sees something extraordinary, he is willing to converse, but will not give up his pride to do so. There are very few people he will acknowledge as great. Since his weakened body has been defeated so many times, he is used to helplessness. This allows him to quickly recover when faced with a new threat. After enough losses, he stopped regretting them.

Appearance

Hell Gao has an overwhelming appearance with a bizarre face shrouded in black flames and a wielding staff with blowing hot winds.

Backstory

He once ruled over Cokro Island, dominating its people and devouring them as sacrifices. It was said thousands were killed in this way. 150 years ago, Muller destroyed his body, but couldn't seal his soul. Hell Gao occassionally comes back to ingest souls of humans and monsters to accumulate power. Story Prologue Hell Gao appeared before the Silver Knights Guild and Grid to kill the guild members. He attacked Grid, but was unable to deal any major damage. Chapter 163-167 At the Cokro Island Dungeon, he materialized and began slaughtering the Silver Knights. As Grid continued to prove more enduring, Hell Gao acknowledged him more. Upon his defeat, he chooses to temporarily give up on claiming souls in the human world, instead accumulating strength in Hell. Chapter 1316-1319 Following many years since the last time, Hell Gao recognizes Grid from their previous fight. He is happy to fight again, especially since they have both become stronger since then. He uses some of the power he originally intended to use against Muller, but is still defeated. Chapter 1450 Repeatedly summoned by Granting an Ego, he gets annoyed and Grid and tells him to do it in moderation. Chapter 1507-1508 He appears in the Great Human and Demon War while using a great demon's body. Upon being defeated, he says Baal tricked him. Chapter 1552 In another raid, he is angry that much less extraordinary people fight him nowadays. He resents Grid for this. Notes - Based on chapters 1685 and 1710, his identity is implied to be a reincarnated Bultar. However, this has not been confirmed.
