Colonel Varegrave

Varegrave possesses a fiery and impulsive personality coupled with a rigid noble's attitude. Despite his initial arrogance, he is defined by his unwavering loyalty to the Crown and strong camaraderie with his brothers-in-arms. He is capable of personal growth, as demonstrated when he discarded his prejudice against Lith upon witnessing his competence. He is a pragmatic soldier who values military hierarchy and the success of the Kingdom's missions.

Varegrave is described as a handsome man in his late 30s. He possesses thick blonde hair and a beard, often maintaining a stern and commanding look.

Varegrave started his military career alongside Captain Velagros, considering him a blood brother. During the Kandria plague, he suspected Lith of treachery due to the death of the Queen's Corps, nearly facing execution by Queen Sylpha for his aggressive actions toward Lith. After Lith proved his value by diagnosing the plague, Varegrave prepared for his own death but was eventually spared due to Lith's intervention. Varegrave later aided the Crown in uncovering noble treachery involving the weaponization of the plague. He has since acted as an ally to Lith, participating in the defense of the White Griffon Academy during Balkor's attack.
