Gremus

Gremus was a loyal but ultimately expendable servant to the Master. He demonstrated patience and strategic cunning by spending years manipulating tribal wars to achieve his goals. He showed a degree of protective instinct toward the shaman he was assigned to watch, likely due to the necessity of his mission. During his final moments, he remained evasive, attempting to deceive his captors by misidentifying his master as a powerful undead.

Gremus was a Rock Worm approximately 4 meters (13 feet) long and as large as a bull. His most distinctive feature was a massive, gaping mouth equipped with multiple series of jagged, rotating teeth that functioned like a high-speed buzz saw. He wore a set of armor crafted from Darwen, provided by his master.

Gremus was tasked by the Master to research how to imitate the orcs' ability to manipulate mana crystals. He was given Darwen armor for protection against magic and stealth, and he placed a marking spell on a crystal used by the shaman Ragh'Ash to track its usage. He spent several years triggering tribal conflicts to collect data on the shaman's abilities. Despite his service, the Master refused to evolve him or turn him into an Abomination, deeming him too weak. During a conflict involving Lith, Gremus intervened to protect Ragh'Ash, was wounded by Solus, and was subsequently killed by Lith after failing to provide truthful information during an interrogation.
