Jadon Lark

Jadon is loyal to his family and demonstrates a strong sense of justice, as evidenced by his willingness to rebuke those who insult his allies, such as his defense of Lith against the Hogums. He is capable of strategic thinking, shown in his plan to remove Koya's spies. While he can be impulsive in his personal attractions, he responds to social pressure and corrective warnings from his family and associates.

Jadon bears a strong physical resemblance to his father, Count Trequill Lark. He is noted for being much more muscularly built than his father.

Jadon first encounters Lith when he is summoned to handle the threat of Countess Koya. He successfully roots out Koya's spies within his family's household. Later, he publicly defends Lith's reputation against Baronet Hogum and his son Frenon during an annulment party. Following the eradication of the Gishal household, Jadon receives a portion of the expanded territory. After his father is assassinated, he assumes the role of Count and oversees the restoration of the Lark estate.
