Nok

Nok is naturally curious, blunt, and socially awkward, often asking invasive questions about the physiology and habits of others. He displays a boisterous and somewhat hedonistic nature, often focusing on food and social interaction, though he is deeply loyal to his mother and family. He can be perceived as irresponsible, often requiring external discipline from figures like Kalla and Faluel to maintain his training and parental duties. Despite his rough exterior, he is caring toward his family and possesses a straightforward, beast-like honesty that contrasts with human societal norms.

In his natural Byk form, Nok is a majestic black bear standing at least 2.5 meters tall, with a size that exceeds typical magical beasts. When shapeshifted into his human form for social events, he appears as a burly, muscular young man over 2 meters tall, characterized by raven-black long hair, a thick beard, and an imposing presence.

Nok was first encountered by Lith in the White Griffon Academy forest, where he was saved from mercenaries hired by Archmage Lukart. Following this, he and his family, including his mother Kalla and sister Nyka, became key figures in Lith's life, especially concerning matters of necromancy and magical heritage. Nok endured periods of hardship and neglect while his mother suffered from the side effects of her failed lich transformation. Over time, he grew to become a significant companion to Lith, even accompanying him to various political and social events. He eventually underwent rigorous training under Faluel to refine his abilities as a Byk, moving past his previous tendency to slack off.
