Reaper

Reaper is characterized by a pragmatic and hardened outlook, shaped by the brutal reality of survival in the wild. He is fiercely loyal to his allies and maintains a serious commitment to his duties as a King of the woods. He is not afraid of death, viewing it as a natural process that forces the survivors to grow stronger and pass on lessons to the next generation. Despite his intimidating nature and warrior's philosophy, he shows genuine care for his subordinates and the people he has sworn to protect. He is calculating in battle, often planning traps for enemies alongside his fellow Kings.

In his Manticore form, Reaper possesses a lion-like head and body, covered in porcupine-like quills infused with various elements. He features black feathered wings and ibex-like horns, with his tail ending in a mass of dangerous, magically-charged quills. In his human form, he appears as a 1.9-meter-tall blonde man with yellow eyes and prominent sideburns. He typically wears a tight green leather hunter suit that highlights his muscular physique. He is often equipped with a cloaking ring on his tail and wields a darkness-imbued glaive named Harvester.

Reaper was originally one of the Kings of the Trawn Woods, struggling to protect his domain alongside Protector and Lifebringer. Seeking greater power to defend against encroaching human and monster threats, he requested that Lith help him and his kin Awaken. Lith agreed, and after Reaper and his fellow beasts survived the ordeal, they became Emperor Beasts. Reaper made a sacred oath to guard Lith's family. Since then, he has participated in critical battles, including the defense of Lutia against undead attacks and mercenary forces. He continues to manage the magical beast tribes of the Trawn Woods, acting as a reliable vanguard for Lith's interests.
