"Tomorrow, we'll head out to clear the Lizard Nest twenty miles away from the city we're currently stationed in." "Both of you, be careful, okay?" Thirteen reminded. "I know you're both strong, but you should never underestimate your enemies." "I know." Erica nodded. "Well, how about you? Lazing around? I haven't seen any live broadcasts lately." "I'm here in Casimir City," Thirteen answered. "Rocky is currently mining resources we need to make ammunition. I plan to stock up on them before I push deeper into enemy territory." Thirteen nodded before shifting her gaze to the Saintess, who looked upset from not knowing his secret when the others knew about it. "Shana, I didn't want to keep it a secret from you," Thirteen said. "I just feel like bringing you to my secret organisation will make you develop bad habits." "Bad habits?" Shana arched an eyebrow. "What bad habits?" "I already told you that I'm a part of a secret organization," Thirteen stated. "And the goal of this organization is not… righteous. So, I thought it would be best that you didn't get involved with it. "Not to mention, the members of that organization are… beings who would want nothing more than to treat you as a tasty offering. You see, people with Holy Powers are very precious to them. This is also the reason why I didn't inform Diana about it. For some reason, she initially found his standoffish attitude quite amusing. But the more she knew about him, the more she realized he simply didn't know how to show emotions toward other people who weren't from his family. She took it as a challenge, and eventually, the diversion she thought would help her temporarily forget Roland became a real thing. Erica fell for Zion's standoffish charms, as well as his willpower and strength. Whenever Erica was with Zion, her maternal instincts kicked in, making her want to protect the teenage boy. She used to be worried for him, knowing he couldn't raise his Rank and had to live with so many restrictions that anyone in his place would've felt depressed about it. Thirteen planned to make it the first line of defense against the Jinn Invasion that would come in full swing after a few months. This was why he ordered Rocky to take the Queen Ants and Queen Bees to the mountain range, where they could start building their nests.
