Chapter 602 – Comfort Jia Li continued to sob in Fu Hua’s arms. "How am I supposed to live with this truth. I have always had one father, but now, I have two? The one who conceived me, and the one who raised me. Hua, I can’t accept this." Jia Li said with her face buried in his chest. Fu Hua patted her back and said in a gentle tone, "You don’t have to accept this situation, and nobody is asking you to. Mr. Qin will always be your father." Jia Li sniffed and hugged Fu Hua tightly. She would never have believed that there would be a mystery behind her birth. She has always been loved by her father and her mother, and the love they showered on her, has been keeping her even after their painful death. The perfect loving family of three has been shattered, and somehow, she wished her Aunty should have died with that secret, instead of choosing to reveal it now. Even after Jia Li had stopped crying, she received to leave Fu Hua’s arms and ended up sleeping. Fu Hua had to gently lay her on the bed, before leaving the bedroom. And by the time he could return to the sitting room, the meeting was already over. Grandfather Fu saw him walk in and reminded him to handle the pending matter he asked to take over, as soon as possible. Fu Hua nodded in response, and the outcome of the meeting during his absence was shared with him. Old Mr. Huang said he would pay a visit to the Guang family as soon as they return to the city. With that, Fu Lei said they had to leave for the City that evening, or early tomorrow morning, so they could deal with the case while it was hot. Fu Hua suggested for them to leave that evening, and everyone agreed. Because if they leave in the evening, they will get home at night, then they could all shower, eat and rest, then the next day, they would continue with their investigations. Everyone agreed to Fu Hua’s suggestion and so, had the servants pack their things, while their transportation was arranged. Fu Hua packed his and Jia Li’s things, as he didn’t want anyone to wake her up by mistake as a result of a little carelessness. After gathering their stuff, the two families came together to eat for the last time. Jia Li was still sleeping, so Fu Hua had her food sent to the room. After eating, Jasmine who had been sleeping woke up and asked for her dad so she was taken to him. Jasmine was being so clingy that Fu Hua had no choice but to hold her in his arms. "Do you want to eat something?" He asked in a gentle tone. The little girl nodded her head while resting her jaw on her father’s shoulder. "Fine, but you need to pee first." Fu Hua said before taking her into the bedroom. Seeing her mother laying on the bed with her eyes closed, Jasmine pointed a finger at her and said to her father, "Mummy is sleeping." "Yes, so don’t raise your voice." Fu Hua said as he carried her into the bathroom so she could pee. It didn’t take long before Jia Li woke up. Fu Hua informed her that they were all going back to the City in the next 1 hour and 30 minutes. "Alright, I will eat and freshen up, then pack our bags." Jia Li said as she got off the bed tiredly. "There is no need to stress yourself, I have done the parking, just eat and freshen up." Fu Hua said to her. In an hour and some minutes, everyone was really to leave, and so, the servants started to carry all their things into the cars that would be taking them to their take-off location. Fifteen minutes later, they arrived at the private space their private jets were waiting for departure and boarded it. It took 3 hours for them to arrive at the City, before entering the cars that would take them back to their Mansions. Bai Jun has been silent for a while now, all because she was plotting something, but that didn’t stop her from flaunting on social media. She posted every picture from her daily activities because she was trying to create a presence, just like Feng Alix did. The stuff she was plotting wouldn’t happen without Mark’s compliance as he was not currently in the Country. He had traveled back as an emergency cropped up in his family, so she was waiting for his return. This night, Bai Jun had phoned him and reminded him of their plans, and to find out when he would be coming back. Mark’s response was simple, "I would be back a few days before her birthday. Do you know if she has any big plans for it?" "There is no news about it for now. If I find something tangible, I will let you know." Bai Jun replied. Their conversation ended right there. Initially, Bai Jun didn’t want to help Mark with his plans for free, hence she demanded he sponsors her which he agreed to. But right now, Bai Jun was the one eager to make sure his plans hold, because she wanted revenge from FangSu, and would go to any length to make it work. The next day, the Huang family reached out to the Guang family, but there was no favorable response from them, so Old Mr. Huang had no choice but to prepare to visit them. "I think they are still angry with our family for so long. Let me go with you, at least you wouldn’t have to bear their harsh words alone." Old Mrs. Huang said with a worried gaze on her husband. "If not for the fact that it’s not right for me to go alone because of the seriousness of this matter, I wouldn’t want any of you to come with me, because Mr. Guang can be pretty harsh." Old Mr. Huang said. His children didn’t care how harsh the Guang family would be to them, they only wanted answers because of their late sister, and so would endure any disrespect and harsh treatment from them.
