Chapter 779 His frustration at being starved "You know you can't go in right?" Jia Li said in a sultry tone. She was halfway undressed as she said that. Her boobs were bare before him as she said that. He was playing with them as if he was getting ready to enter her. Fu Hua almost got distracted by that statement. "What do you mean I can't go in, are you not wet?" He asked in-between panting while kneeling in between her legs. "I don't want it, I just want to pleasure you the other way so you can get a relief. He didn't have a good night's sleep, and it was all visible on his face, who knew what was going on in his head. After forcing himself to sleep with dissatisfaction arched in his memory, this was the result. Not long later, Jia Li stirred in her sleep, and in a few minutes, she was awake. As she slowly opened her eyes, she stretched her hands out for a stretch but ended up hitting Fu Hua's hand with a light force. "Sorry... good morning," She apologized and greeted and flashed him a small smile, but he only glanced at her and hummed in response before throwing his gaze back on the roof. "What's going on, are you worried about something?" Jia Li asked as she struggled to sit up on the bed. Her tone wasn't particularly concerned or worried. It sounded as if it was only normal for her to ask. Fu Hua shifted his gaze to her and asked, "Are you sure you want to know the answer to that question?" Jia Lo thought of something and shook her head, "Forget it!" Then she got off the bed and went to use the washroom. 'She doesn't even care to placate me or explain things!' Fu Hua thought with an annoyed gaze while staring at her back till she slowly disappeared into the inner room. Not long after, Jasmine came barging in after a few gentle knocks on the door. "Daddy!" The excited little girl called out as she ran towards the bed to receive her morning hugs and kisses. Fu Hua managed a smile and got out of bed, and right at the time she ran over, he lifted her in his arms and showered her with kisses all over her face. Jasmine couldn't help chuckling and trying to hide because she felt a little ticklish when his subtle made contact with her soft skin. Even though Fu Hua was not in the mood, he had to give his little girl her normal treat. After playing with her a few more times, he put her on the bed and began to ask her some questions, like if she slept well and if she had washed up. This was the scene Jia Li saw when she finished showering and came out of the inner room. She saw the close bonding between the father and daughter and thought, 'Is he happy now?' But that wasn't the case. Fu Hua was still pretty much annoyed, and that was made known when Jia Li stepped into the bedroom. He hurriedly went into the bathroom to freshen up, and by the time he was out, the mother and daughter had already left. 'Heartless woman!' During breakfast, Jia Li and Fu Hua took turns putting food on Jasmine's plate, but never exchanged glances or said anything to each other. Grandfather Fu who was sitting next to Jia Li and at the head of the table, felt that something was off about them. It's not like they always conversed every morning during dinner, but the atmosphere and vibe he was receiving from them didn't look alright. He thought he should monitor them to see if he was mistaken. Grandfather Fu had not yet made a full recovery after 2 weeks, but he was better than the other time he had a mild heart attack. He looked older, and his voice was weak, but his eyes were full of strength. It showed his stance on not backing down no matter the challenges life throws at him. After dinner, Fu Hua went into his study and locked himself up. He buried himself in work until it was time for lunch, and YingPei had to come over to call him. Jia Li didn't know he was still sulking about the previous night and thought he was too caught up with work, so she asked YingPei to call him out for lunch, while she stayed with Jasmine and guided her to the dining room. "Why are you here?" Fu Hua asked with a death glare immediately after he saw YingPei stride into his study without knocking. "It's time for lunch, are you not coming out?" YingPei asked seemingly unaffected by his brother's mood. "If that is the reason you came, make use of the door, I will eat later," Fu Hua said and shifted his gaze back to the array of digital clothes on his system. YingPei nodded and said, "I don't why you are glaring up, it's not like I angered you or something, but I'm going to report back to sister-in-law because she sent me to you." Fu Hua pretended as if he didn't hear anything and continued with his gaze fixed on the screen. Seeing that he wasn't making a move, YingPei turned around to leave. After he had shut the door behind him, Fu Hua raised his gaze and said in a low tone, and with a frown on his face, "Why didn't she come to find me herself?"
