Confirming his thought about this being an execution, he was not surprised at the result of this battle. Vyraak was always going to lose, no matter his bravery or rage, the result was always inevitable. One thing he was learning about the battles in the higher realms was that the currency for conflict was energy, and the one who possessed the most of it, won nine out of ten times. At the lower levels, the intricacies of spells and techniques were extremely important, but if an enemy could endlessly regenerate any injury no matter how fatal, then the only way to win was to diminish the energy stores that powered their vitality, making a lot of battles in the higher realm to be one of endurance and not necessarily technique. Every battle had to be balanced against the energy expenditure that was to be used for it, this ensured that higher dimensional immortals were far more careful about engaging in battle if they would not gain any profit from it, although Rowan was not susceptible to this constraint in the past, that was when he was fighting against relatively weaker enemies, and now he was starting to feel the strain current state of his energy stores that could not be regenerated as before. With the battle between the Celestial and Vyraak, the Celestials had been able to take this concept of energy expenditure to the next level, and they were not just fighting Vyraak, they were stealing away the foundation he needed to be able to battle with these vampiric spears that stole his Aether and Essence, as for Vyraak, without the proper weapons and defenses to stop them, the dragon was doomed. Depriving your enemy of the energy they would need to power their abilities was crucial, yet it was not something that could be easily achieved, since a higher dimensional immortal could engrain their Will inside of every iota of Aether and Essence in their bodies, but for a Primordial force like the Celestials, it was not that difficult to break this rule as they had many methods to achieve this outcome. ® The Spirit of Vyraak rages on, and the dragon, this close to death, becomes even more methodical in his action as if he knows that he is in his final moments and needs to make sure he leaves his mark—Eradicating every single invader of his home. Gravity wrapped around him like a cloak, and he did not bother to pull out the spears sticking out from his body, as doing that would not work; they would simply start drawing more power from him so they could remain stuck inside of him; he did the opposite, he pushed. This move was unexpected, in the heat of the moment not many would think about such a move, however, this maneuver succeeded, and it gave him a chance to expel more than half the spears in his body, as the spears were pulled into his body with so much force that thousands of them were blasted out of his body, although, as a result of this grisly act, the rest of the spears were now lodged deeper in his body and were draining much more of his energy; however, this gave him the leverage to be able to move. With barely thirty of his tails left, the dragon used them as his source of locomotion. His limbs were far too wrecked to push him forward, and they became instead a window to expel the rage and pain he still had in his heart. His body transformed into a sort of spider-dragon hybrid when his tails began to act as his legs. Bright yellow orbs were blasted from all four of his previous limbs that shot towards the eyes of the Archon, numbering in the millions, each of these yellow orbs was a supermassive black hole that had been shrunken, and ordinarily, they would be dangerous enough, but their true power was in the Will, Fate and Destiny that he had wrapped within every single part of these blackholes. Vyraak was not able to pull his mind which had been wrenched deeply into madness to perform at this level of offense as before, but the remnants of the Universe Will that had always been kept safe inside of him no longer chose to stand aside and began burning itself to give Vyraak, one last chance to destroy his enemies. This act caused him so much pain and filled him with strength, giving Vyraak the last energy he needed to push forward. ® The eyes of the Archon appeared a bit weakened, but its imperious gaze had not changed in the slightest; its eyes flashed, and billions of Seraphim appeared alongside millions of Powers, and they collided against this new offensive wave unleashed by the dragon. Knowing this was the last struggle of a dying enemy, the Archon would use as few resources as possible to clean up this mess. The destruction wrought by this battle had far exceeded what it should have been, and Muriel, the Seraphim in charge of this expedition would have to be judged and punished for this massive failure. The next series of clashes that happened between the Dragon and the Celestial had no big flashes of power; it was almost muted, but the danger had increased nearly exponentially. Violent balls of dense black holes accompanied by the fury of the Dragon shattered entire hosts of Angels, both Seraphims and Powers; the blackholes weaved through the field of battle, surrounding the charging dragon and serving as both his sword and shield. Vyraak’s opposition was silent. The Powers were the Tank used to suppress and slow down the charge of the dragon, their powerful bodies needing dozens of black holes to shred and compress their mass before they could be killed, and their attacks blasted huge chunks of flesh from the dragon when it connected. The Seraphims were lobbing potent spells that destabilized the swirling black holes and further slowed down the dragon with gigantic spell formations that acted like chains. In this silent yet incredibly violent clash, the voice of the Archon resounded through space and time, "Your desecration of the holy has come to an end, cursed dragon." The reason why the Archon had been intent on slowing down the dragon was revealed when a wispy form emerged from between its eyes as if it walked out of the mind of the Destroyer. It was roughly humanoid, but because it seemed to be made only from light, it gave the form a hazy shape as if it were simply a figment of fantasy. Rowan, who had been watching the battle intently at this point, nearly froze when he saw this new figure, realization dawned on him that he was not just looking at an Angel, but a Creator of Angels! Rowan had gained the status of a Celestial Creator when he became an Avatar of Eve, and at that time, he was then made aware of a special class of immortals called Celestial Creators, which were immortals that were bestowed with the power to create Celestial Hosts by the Primordial Light. From the moment he entered reality, he had never come across these esteemed Celestial Creators before, but if all of them were like Eva, then he fully comprehended how dangerous they would be. Most of the plans he made would not be successful if he did not have the Lady of Shadows by his side, and to finally see someone like her was something that called his attention as nothing else could. The Celestial Creator walked slowly towards the charging dragon, and the Angels that had been harassing Vyraak all retreated, opening a passage for the dragon to charge ahead. They all bowed their heads as if they were not worthy of looking at the Creator, and at this gesture, Rowan frowned. He understood the adorations that Angels had for their creators, but they were in the midst of battle, and many of these Angels that retreated to bow towards this Celestial Creator had left themselves open, and Vyraak was killing them, and they did not try to defend themselves. It was as if before this Creator they were not worthy of making any move without his permission. This showed a degree of disregard towards these Celestials children that made Rowan heart grow cold, and rage began to bloom behind his eyes. The Creator did not change his stance or his easy walking motion, he was simply gliding forward, and when he was closer to the dragon, a massive halberd made from light appeared on his right hand, and another one his left, then he simply vanished. A moment later, he reappeared behind Vyraak, and the dragon charge suddenly paused, before with a low groan of disbelief, Vyraak body parted in two from his head to his tails.
