Chapter 1972 - Edna Charm Laboratory I Time passed by as I continued to solve the formation; while I was doing that, the change had occurred around me. As I had said, the Grimm Monsters have returned, and this time, they have brought the two leaders with them, but when they came, they found a surprise waiting for them too. We also have the leader of our own; she had appeared twenty minutes after the Grimm Monsters left and started to use one artifact after another to break the door. Some of the artifacts had nearly broken the door before it had been reinforced; if that artifact of her had been a little bit stronger, she would have been able to break it. More and more people came with passing time, while some left seeing every attempt of opening the door is getting failed. Not all of them left though, they know it is one of the best places in the Myles Campus with many good things inside, and if someone is able to open the door, they stand a chance to get those good things. It took me seven and a half hour before I was able to solve the formation. I had memorized it and was about to take out the air pen to draw it when I heard an unfamiliar voice behind me. "I did not expect I would find such a large gathering in front of Edna Charms laboratory." "Not only fellow humans but Grimm friends are also here, especially beauties which I admire so much," said the voice. When I looked back, I saw a man in armor, which seemed to be made of bone. There are beautiful but eerie purple-blue designs were carved on the armor, and its helmet has two sharp purple bone hours. Charles Bone It is Charles's bone without a doubt, only he had bone behemoth bloodline in the world, and it gives this peculiar armor. Seeing him appear, everyone has become careful, both Grimm Monsters and humans, especially three women. His reputation is notorious; while he seemed to find the right way in his service to the Pyramid, there is no trusting in this dangerous man; we have to remain careful in front of him. He looked at everyone, but his gaze especially lingered on the women; he did not say anything as he walked toward the door and began to give his tries to open it. Seeing that, I decided to watch for a while; waiting for few minutes isn't going to affect my timing in the ruin. Others also let him approach the door, as he did, he started to use one artifact after another like others did; like me, some even tried to solve the formation before giving up; the skills requite to solve such difficult formations are immense, not anybody with little runic knowledge could do it. He had tried for about twenty minutes with different artifacts, but all of its attempts failed; I had thought he would leave seeing many people have left after their failure, but she just stood on the human side, giving way for others to try. Seeing that, I walked toward the door and took out the air pen; a moment later, hundreds of runes began to be released from it, each one bearing the heavy aura. This ink is extremely precious, made from very rare ingredients. I had asked a trio of Wisdom tower to make this ink; those three are not only healers but also quite good alchemists; they were quite happy to concoct this ink for me, with me giving them few precious herbs for their services. The ink I have is very limited, but it should be enough for this ruin; I just hope that I will get what I want from this place or at least something that would be equal or more valuable to the ink I am using. "Little elite, it is not easy to break the formation. If it had been, your father would have done that long ago," Charles Bone said mockingly. I craned my neck and looked at him before focusing on the air pen, which was still releasing the ruins. Soon, all the runes released from the pen, and they formed a formation that floated toward the door before sticking to it Buzz! I couldn't help but frown seeing it, it is I who had broken the formation, and it should be I who should open the door. Garrrr! 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖 I did not say anything and appeared beside Elina as we watched Charles Bone and Leader class Grimm Monster push open the door. They did not have to use much of the strength, despite it being big, and a few seconds later, the thick steel door swung open, giving us the look of Edna Charm laboratory. The first thing I see is a vast empty lobby; the lobby is bigger than even the building itself, which is not surprising. All the important buildings in the Myles Campus are spatially enlarged; the Edna Charm laboratory may look small on the outside, being only a three-story tall building, but it is huge with spatial enlarging. The spatial enlarging is not a simple thing even greater world, but this place had great funding from its parent organization and mighty powerhouses at their disposal; doing spatial enlargement to all their labs is not a big thing as long as they continue to show results in their research.
