Chapter 1996 - Core Element Of The Core 'It is time,' I said to myself and went to my Inheritance place; there, I looked at the gargantuan runic humanoid which I had burned my blood and soul to create. I did not spend any time admiring it as I am doing every time I enter my Inheritance space and look at the beautiful creation of mine. This time, I did not do that; instead, I tapped on the giant thing before getting out of my Inheritance Space. Buzz! 'It is time for the great destruction,' I said in my mind and activated the formation covering me and powering it with my will, so it would not face even an ounce of resistance from me. Crack Crack Crack As the formation activated with the full support of my will, my runes began to crack and turn into dusk; it is happening to each and every rune and not only to the runes but to even something just as important, the inheritance core of my Clear Heart Inheritance, cracks could be seen forming on it too. Technically, it is not a core; it could be said to be a mark of Inheritance which I had gotten when I had imprinted the Clear Heart Inheritance on me. I am destroying everything I have worked hard for in these past few years. I am doing this so I can forge it for the better. Remove all embellishments of it, so it could become peerless. If I succeed, I will be peerless, but if not, then only death awaited me. Dhub Dhub Dhub Everything had been turned into the dust, my runes, my core, everything I have built till now. There is no sense of sadness in my heart but a burning fervor. I have only about an hour, I have to succeed in this period. If I did not, I would die, and if I had somehow survived, I would not be able to live. There will be nothing for me to live, as I would become a thorough cripple, who would become incapable of practicing even a shred of energy. I looked at the curse, ready to defend against it with every defense I have prepared against it, but to my great shock, there is no reaction from it, as if it had not to sense I am completely defenseless right now. Since I began, everything had been under my control; there is not a single thing that had surprised me, much less shocked me, but this one is truly done, and I do not like it at all. It is making me good at all; I am having quite bad feelings in my heart. I looked at curse sea for a few seconds before I looked at the formation covering me. While I am not getting a good feeling about it not acting, I could not wait for it to attack me. I have to continue, and when it decides to attack, the defenses I had prepared will be ready to face it. Buzz! With that thought, I have activated the formation again, and this time, the runes that covered the speck of creation material activated, and it began to seep inside me. I had expected to feel some pain, but to my surprise, I did not feel any pain at all. Soon, the speck entered my heart, and seeing that my mind couldn't help but become serious. This tiny spec of creative material is the most important part of my core formation, not only because it is the billionth time rarer than the divine crystal but because that is because, to my knowledge, it is the only thing in the world that could represent the rule-bending power. Every Inheritance Core that is being forged has the element, be it a celestial inheritance or regular Inheritance. For example, Ramona Hawthorn had an Inheritance core, and her element was Abyssal fire, one of the most destructive powers of the world. It could be said that her Inheritance is based on the single element, the Abyssal fire, even before she had formed her Inheritance fore while I have the seven choices due to me having a celestial Inheritance and seven elemental constitution. If I chose the element like fire, Sunfire or swallowing; I am confident I will get humongous offensive power. The curse element will make me nearly undefeatable due to its viciousness, and killing will give me the senses and abilities which will make me one of the best sensory and assassin-type powerhouses, while the healing rule will make me the best healer. The rule-bending power would not give me excellence in any of these ways, but I would not have advantages I could get after choosing it, but I would still choose it. I chose it because rule-bending power is the power of a miracle; it could bend the rules of nature itself. While the excellencies of these elements are amazing, choosing those would not give me the advantages I need; those things would only be given to me my rule-bending power, and I am going to choose it as an element of my core, and it will be for, forever. I have made this decision with a lot of thoughts, and I have no second thoughts about it as I am sure I will be able to walk further with rule-bending power as the core element of my Core. I am now going to do a very dangerous thing; I am going to merge the source of rule-bending power with my core; usually, sources merge with the core at the end of the formation, but I am going to do that start. While the creation material has all the qualities to represent the rule-bending power, the representation is not perfect. I want to make it perfect; I am going to merge the speck of creation material with the source of rule-bending power. It will be a dangerous and painful process, akin to ripping my heart out, not to mention if anything goes wrong, I will lose the rule-bending power, but despite the risk, I am doing it because this way, I will gain a perfect Inheritance Core.
