Though maguses had some advantage, epic-ranked beasts could use spells too. So they were a combination of knights and maguses. Normally 3–4 epic-ranked knights and maguses were needed to defeat an epic beast. Lucas vanished. He didn’t have time. The students wouldn’t be able to make it out alive if he delayed any longer. He needed to do something. "Damn it!" Lucas roared in frustration. An epic-ranked person or beast was similar to a Galactic Realm powerhouse. So it was a vast power. The ape could destroy half of the continent alone if it were given some time. Lucas roared, "Beast, stop where you are. You are invading the business of the Holy Britannian Empire." The ape didn’t even look at him, as if it was possessed by something. "Shit!" Lucas immediately created a grand barrier to hold the ape until those candidates could return to safety.
