Terra, the Beast Taming Goddess. Her likeness was carved so perfectly it almost seemed alive. Flowers, vines, and strange beast motifs decorated the base. Even the ocean breeze quietened when they approached. But there was something strange about all this... The statue was bound by thick, heavy chains—each the width of a tree trunk. The chains were fastened to the ground and locked in place by giant iron seals. ...It almost felt as if the statue was imprisoned, or perhaps they were protecting it from someone. Imperia Island was known as one of the most secured places in existence. Even when the demons had invaded the human realm through special portals linking to the Demon Empire... It had been extremely difficult for them to take over the island.
