Chapter 317 - Fu Hua Finds Trouble With Avery Before Jia Li could end her sketching, Jasmine started crying. "Oh my God!" Jia Li exclaimed but that did not stop her from continuing with her sketching. "Jasmine is crying." Fu Hua said with his gaze on her. He was reminding her in case she didn't hear it. "I know. Just sit there and rock her but don't move your feet." Jia Li instructed as her hands began to work quickly. Fu Hua sighed as he lifted Jasmine from his thighs. He tried to placate her by talking sweetly to her. At a point, the little girl stopped crying and listened to her father but not long after she started crying again. "She is hungry." Fu Hua said. "I know. Give me 5 minutes, I'm coming." Jia Li said as she quickened her pace. Ocean and the puppies wanted to approach the crying baby but Fu Hua asked them not to come over. As for the puppies, they were too young to listen. They made their way over but Jia Li called their names and asked them to step back. Ocean glanced at Jia Li who looked a bit annoyed. She immediately went to pull her babies back and only then did Jia Li calm down a little. Jasmine stopped crying when Fu Hua began to sing for her. She looked curious as he gazed into her father's eyes. And because she was hungry, she didn't fail to put her fingers into her mouth to suck them. Fu Hua's heart ached for the little girl but he has to do a good job to pacify her, so he continued to sing and smile at her. Quickly, Jia Li finished sketching. She still had to paint the work but it wasn't the right time. She would do that later after she was done feeding Jasmine. "I'm through!" Jia Li said with a smile as she put down her pencil and washed her hands before wiping them dry and going over to carry her precious daughter. "Jasmine, mum is sorry for delaying." Jia Li said to the little girl with a smile. Jasmine made her baby noises and stretched her short arms towards her mother's face while bringing her face close as well. Jia Li instinctively moved her face backward. She smiled and said, "Are you trying to eat your mother's face?" Jasmine responded by crying and Jia Li had to quickly sit and bring out her left boob for her. Jasmine was quick to grab her left boob. The little girl did not wait for her mother to guide her nipple into her mouth for she found it herself. The little girl immediately grabbed her mother's breast and put her little mouth on it and began to suck quickly. "Oh! My baby is so hungry." Jia Li said with a smile as she gently pats Jasmine's side. Fu Hua sighed in relief when he saw that his daughter had stopped crying. He sat beside Jia Li on another chair and fixed his gaze on the little one who had her eyes closed. "I think she would fall asleep soon." Fu Hua said from the side. "I think so too." Jia Li replied with a smile. Ocean and the puppies came to surround Jia Li after she settled down with Jasmine. Avery touched Fu Hua's feet when she tried to walk towards Jia Li's feet to lay down but Fu Hua picked her up with one hand and moved her backward, while still sitting. Avery made some noises and made her way towards Jia Li again while trying to avoid Fu Hua's feet but Fu Hua blocked her with his leg. "Where do you think you're going?" Fu Hua asked with his gaze on the cute puppy that stopped to glance at him in frustration. "You are one jealous man. What did Avery do to you, move your leg away?" Jia Li said to him with a frown. "I want to see what she would do." Fu Hua said with a smile. He seemed to be having fun tormenting the little puppy. Avery glanced over and saw that her brother and mother were already lying next to Jia Li's feet, so she made some noises out of frustration. Ocean couldn't bark at Fu Hua from stopping her child from coming over. Jasmine was eating while trying to get some sleep, so she couldn't bark no matter what. Ocean brought out her tongue as she glanced at Fu Hua. "What can you do?" Fu Hua asked as he moved his gaze to Ocean who didn't look happy. "Darling, how can you be so mean to Avery, let her pass." Jia Li said to Fu Hua. "I will let her go but soon." Fu Hua replied as he picked up the little puppy that was trying to pass from under his leg. Fu Hua brought Avery up to his face as he moved his leg away. "You look adamant." Fu Hua said to Avery who was trying to leave his hold. Ocean saw her child being held up in Fu Hua's hands and immediately walked over. She raised her front legs and tried to put them on Fu Hua's legs but he glared at her. "I will throw your child away if you come over." Fu Hua threatened. Ocean had no choice but to move a few steps away from him and only then did Fu Hua put Avery down. Immediately she was let down, she ran to Jia Li's feet to lay down obediently. Ocean walked to her side and lay down to cuddle her. Archie saw what was going on and came to receive a cuddle from his mother as well. "Now I see how fun it is to have a pet." Fu Hua said with a devilish smile. He seemed happy to have found a new hobby. He felt it would be so much fun to play with the puppies that way. "If this is the way you want to play with my puppies, stay away from them." Jia Li said to him. "Why should I stay away when I'm interested in owning them? I just discovered that I have been missing out on a lot. I will be sure to take my time in getting to know your puppies.." Fu Hua said with a smirk.
