Chapter 326 - It Doesn't Sound Right "We have to travel back to your hometown as it's your parent's death Anniversary. We should leave in 2 days, so we can come back on time. Jasmine is too young to stay out for a long time." Fu Hua said to her in a gentle tone. "This will be the first time Jasmine will see her grandparents. I hope mum and dad are resting peacefully." Jia Li said with a sad smile as she tightened her hands around Fu Hua's waist "Your parents are resting peacefully, don't worry." Fu Hua said as he kissed the top of her hair. Jia Li snuggled more into his warm chest and her lips turned up in a smile. Her stomach size has reduced drastically, so she had no issues with receiving a frontal hug. She just needed to continue drinking her soup and sticking to her diet before her stomach size will go back to how flat it used to be. "Today is a happy day, Jasmine is a month old. Instead of being so emotional, why don't we do something else?" Fu Hua suggested as he released her from the hug. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖 "What can we do?" Jia Li asked with raised brows as she had no idea of what he was talking about. "Remember what I told you about a week or 2 weeks ago? I want it today. It's been a long time, I can't wait further." Fu Hua said as she caressed her face. Jia Li understood him and blushed. She glanced at the sleeping beauty in her cot and looked back at Fu Hua and said, "But Jasmine is here, it doesn't sound right to do it." "You're just worried. We just have to reduce our tone and be mindful not to make any noise." Fu Hua whispered to her with a smile. "But still, I feel that Jasmine would hear us. She is still a child. And then the scent in the room. What if she starts crying when we are doing it? No, forget it. When she grows up more, we can do it." Jia Li said and walked towards the bed. Jia Li was scared of Jasmine waking up on them. She wanted her little girl's mind to remain healthy and she wouldn't be comfortable doing that kind of thing when someone else was present, so she refused totally. Fu Hua chuckled softly. He already planned to eat candy tonight and nothing can stop him. Since Jia Li was worried because of Jasmine, he decided to send her away. Fu Hua went into the inner room to pack a few diapers, change of clothes, bibs and a few things into a small bag then he walked back into the room with it. Next, he opened Jasmine's food warmer to ensure that her bottles of milk were there. He zipped the warmer and put the two bags on his shoulder before walking towards Jasmine's cot. As he lifted the little girl to his arms, Jia Li who had been watching curiously asked, "Where are you taking my child?" "Don't worry, just lay on the bed and wait for me." Fu Hua whispered in a low tone for fear that the little girl would wake up. Jia Li was shocked that Fu Hua decided to take their daughter away just so that he could get what he wanted. 'Is he really in need of it?' She thought to herself. Fu Hua went downstairs with the little girl in his arms and went straight to a room door. He knocked twice and waited for a few moments before the door opened from the inside. Fu Lei was surprised to see his son with his granddaughter in his arms in front of his door at night. "What are you doing here? Where is Jia Li?" Fu Lei asked in a concerned tone but his facial expression looked otherwise. "Jia Li needs to get some rest. You and mother should take care of her for tonight. I will come back for her in the morning." Fu Hua said as he handed the two bags to his father. Right then, Fu Hee appeared and was surprised to see that it was Fu Hua. She heard Fu Lei asking about Jia Lia and came out. Without warning, Fu Hua placed the sleeping little girl in her arms and turned to walk away without saying a word to her. Fu Hee and Fu Lei were happy to take care of their granddaughter. When they walked inside the room, they exchanged roles. Fu Lei held the little girl, while Fu Hee made a space in the center of the bed for her. She spread the clothing material Fu Hua brought along on the bed so she could lay Jasmine on it. After settling the little girl who moved her fingers and her face as she was disturbed, Fu Hee placed her warmer on the nightstand next to her side of the bed, before getting in under the covers. Fu Lei joined her as well. "It looks like Fu Hua has started trusting you seeing that he gave his daughter to you." "I hope so." Fu Hee replied with a smile. When Fu Hua got back to his bedroom with a trolley of some snacks and food he pushed in by himself, Jia Li was pacing around the room. When she saw him, she asked in a concerned tone, "Where did you take Jasmine to? Did you give her to grandfather?" "Grandfather is old already, so I couldn't disturb him. I sent her to her grandparents for the night." Fu Hua replied casually as he stopped the trolley next to the couch before going to hug Jia Li. "I thought you didn't want mother to ever hold her?" Jia Li asked as she let him hug her. "It's just for tonight. And I know you let her hold Jasmine when I'm not around. I really have to give you a gift for your boldness." Fu Hua said with his gaze on her. Before Jia Li could protest, his lips covered hers in a kiss. 'You didn't tell me you were starting already!' Jia Li blamed him in her mind.
