The Temple was ancient, carved from shimmering stone that shifted colors with the passing wind—sometimes gold, sometimes silver, like time itself couldn't decide. Massive pillars twisted upward, spiraling like the hands of a clock frozen mid-motion. An enormous door stood at the center, etched with countless symbols that even Nux, with all the knowledge he had in his head, couldn't recognize. He even felt the air around him change the moment he entered the Temple's area of influence. His eyes couldn't move away from that giant door, and in the end, as if tempted by some unknown force, he walked in with a dull look on his face, almost as if he were hypnotized.
