A 3-meter-tall being who had the torso of a man and the lower body of a giant scorpion was walking back into his tent. His body was covered in dark, hard armor that shined faintly under the light. Sharp plates protected his chest and arms, and his hands ended in strong, claw-like fingers. A thick, powerful tail curled over his back, tipped with a deadly stinger that dripped with poison. His legs were strong and bent backward like an insect's, helping him move quickly and quietly. His eyes were narrow and sharp, glowing a deep red, and small horns poked out from the sides of his head. He had an overbearing and menacing appearance, and his character further enhanced this impression. *Picture* This being was a Scorvane, beings from a Middle-Level World named Saccharis, one of the direct subordinates of Khaemorr, the High-Level World led by the Princess who rose from the Chains, Sharnoth. And this being in particular, Dulcia Von Saccharis, was the Progenitor of Scorvane, a Transcendent-Level Being, the strongest of his World. Right now, Dulcia and his men were at War with another Middle-Level World of the enemy Faction named Gelatina. The camps were set, the men were gathered, War could start any moment now. Dulcia was only waiting for the Queen's signal. The moment he got it, his army would invade Gelatina and destroy them. For now, however, he was returning to his tent to get some time alone and calm his nerves. Even if he had invaded 10 Worlds for her Queen and won every battle, he was still nervous, as every Army leader should be. It wasn't a sign of weakness, it meant that he cared, he was a good leader. "Haaahh…" With a deep sigh, Dulcia returned to his tent, but the moment he walked in, he froze. A being he didn't recognize was sitting inside his tent and he... He seemed quite comfortable. "You are late. I have been waiting for a while, you know?" The being smiled. He had long black hair, purple eyes, horns, and a ridiculously handsome face. Yes, it was Nux in his Devil Form. "Who are you?" Dulcia questioned with a wary look on his face. He couldn't sense his strength. What's even worse was that Saccharis's Will didn't inform him about his arrival. Even now, it couldn't sense him. This being had a way to escape a World's senses; it was a ridiculously strong and useful ability. Dulcia could already think of ways to put this to use, for now, however, he knew he needed to deal with whoever this being was. He clenched his claws, his tense body was prepared to act the moment it was required, but then, "You are too tense, Dulcia, calm down. If I wanted to hurt you, you wouldn't be standing right now." Nux spoke with a light, calming smile on his face. His words may sound arrogant, but they weren't false. Sure, the being in front of him was a Transcendent, but his Law wasn't a threat to him. As long as he dodged all the attacks, which itself wasn't difficult because of his mastery over space, he couldn't lose. "…Why are you here?" Dulcia questioned, still wary. "Your Queen, I wish to communicate with her." "The Queen isn't her—" "I know that." Nux interrupted. "I want you to tell her that a potential ally wishes to talk to her." Nux then threw a Call Artifact towards Dulcia and, "Deliver this to her. Tell her she can contact me the moment she activates it." Dulcia grabbed the Artifact and frowned. "Why not go to her?" He questioned directly. He could see it, the being in front of him was strong. Since he couldn't sense his strength, he might even be a Peak Eternity-Level Being, someone even stronger than his Queen. Why wasn't someone like him using him to contact his Queen? Was this a trap? But would such a strong being put enough effort to set a trap? Or… Was this being not as strong as he was thinking and was just putting up a fake front? He had a way to hide his existence from the World's Will. It wouldn't be shocking if he had a way to hide his cultivation; such artifacts were rare, but they did exist. 'So he is faking it…?' Dulcia frowned. 'Is this the reason he doesn't wish to directly meet the Queen?' "I have my reasons." Nux answered, oblivious to Dulcia's thoughts. Dulcia, on the other hand, continued thinking, 'Is he afraid of the Queen? But then what's the plan? Why does he wish to talk to the Queen anyways? What did he want to say?' The more he thought, the more questions appeared in his mind. In the end, however, he just shook his head and stopped thinking about this. "Find someone else or go to her yourself." He answered. He had an entire War to worry about; he couldn't waste his time with some random man he didn't even know. "Hmm?" Nux frowned, a little taken aback. Soon, however, he realized the problem. "Oh, I am not asking you to do this for free." He began. He was a good man. Since he was here to ask for a favor, he had come with a gift. "What do you mean?" Dulcia narrowed his eyes. "I have something for you." "I do not need anythi—" Before Dulcia could complete his words, Nux interrupted. "You will love it, trust me. Just wait a little. It will start very soon." "What are you even talking about?" Dulcia's frown deepened; he was getting annoyed, he was even prepared to attack this man and end his existence, but then, Bzzzz Another Artifact Nux was holding started buzzing. "It started." Nux grinned as he infused his energy into the Artifact, and the Artifact projected a huge screen in front of both Nux and Dulcia, and the instant Dulcia saw what the screen was showing, his expression changed. This place... He knew what it was... Gelatina, a World he was at War with and was about to invade. "Let the show begin, shall we?" Nux questioned as he glanced at a certain black-haired, crimson-eyed woman, who was walking into the enemy Army Leader's camp with a light, joyful smile on her face.
