The shadow on Rowan’s palm thickened, extending branches of darkness that began to grow with furious intensity, inside this darkness he could see shades of a creature, malevolent and powerful, and it seemed to be clawing its way back through a dimension that Rowan could not perceive, and only his mastery over space was allowing him to see the darkness growing on his left palm, if he was a fourth dimensional immortal with no mastery over space, he would not have been able to see this darkness. "Interesting…" Rowan muttered, his consciousness documenting the entire process, as he believed that he was looking at the internals of something special—The unknown eighth dimension! "Interesting?!" Gothra’Inul broke out in laughter, "It is true that only the foolish and the dead know no fear, and soon you will be both. How did you think I was able to survive the end of the Primordial Era? You are…" Rowan interrupted the titan, "It is not working." Multiple eyes of Gothra’Inul squinted in suspicion and annoyance at being interrupted by such an inane statement, however, he still growled slowly, "What’s not working?" Rowan’s body leaned to the side, and in that same motion he unsheathed his Destroyer, pulling it out from Reality, the blade of this weapon was now different as it was always growing alongside Rowan. Part of his dimensional flesh, the destroyer Apollyon’s powers had been taking several monumental leaps forward and a gigantic number of soul crystals had been pouring into it to fuel that growth, and even though this process was not yet complete, Apollyon’s strength had grown exponentially higher. Originally a Celestial armament, the Destroyer as with everything that came in contact with Rowan had changed on a fundamental level, and it almost appeared as if Rowan was wielding a slice of a universe in the shape of a Great sword. This current form was proof that its evolution was not completed, but Rowan believed that a great weapon was supposed to be tempered in battle, and if there was any weapon that would stay with him to the end, it was Apollyon. Rowan would only draw this blade if he was in grave danger or he needed to slaughter a great being, and currently, his situation fits both of those reasons. Using the flat of the blade he intercepted a purple flash that had been heading for the back of his skull and using his martial skill that had been gathering dust for a long while, he angled the blade in such a manner that most of the force it was carrying dispersed in a concentric circular shockwave that blasted into the distance for billions of miles, and he smoothly edged the blade over his head, still carrying that flash of purple and with a final flourish, he brought his destroyer ahead of him, and the purple flash struck the shattering ground with an earth-shaking impact. This impact was the last straw, and the entirety of Doom Star exploded. It was a simple move but was delivered so masterfully that it was similar to watching poetry in motion. The cries of the dying realm were cut short and for a while, there were nothing but massive blasts and vibrations as the realm shattered into trillions of pieces and was blasted to the edge of nothingness. The fundamental forces that bounded a reality as one ceased to exist, light, gravity, heat, etcetera, and everyone began to fall into what seemed to be an endless void, but Rowan knew that was not the case, below them was the World Stele, and Rowan would be exposing it to everyone here. No matter how powerful he had become, he could not fight everyone at the same time, so the best option was to divide and conquer, and so he would need to manage the situation as best as he could and wait for the full picture of the situation was revealed to all parties here. The debris of Doom Star shot out in every direction with enough force to crumble a million universes and inside the Chaos was stillness, and that stillness surrounded Rowan, disregarding the chaos around them he pointed his blade at Gothra’Inul and said, "Your distractions would not work, it is not enough. Surely you can do better." Although he was not aware of the moment the Titan and the Eye of Time chose to work with each other again after the betrayal of the Eye using the body of Gothra’Inul as a shell, they must have both decided to take him off the board. Rowan thought it was a wise decision, he was an unknown factor with extremely strange abilities, so he needed them to see their true enemy before it was too late, and understand the depths of its powers. The previous attack by the titan was fierce but he was just a distraction, the true killing blow was coming from the Eye of Time who had quietly taken the form of a halberd once more and struck Rowan from behind. A moment ago, the Eye of Time had attacked Rowan in this manner, and even though he had anticipated the blow he had been blown away for miles and had nearly perished from Essence and Aether deterioration. Those two blows from the halberd had almost killed him, and only unleashing his destroyer had saved him. The same attack even when launched from Rowan’s blindside did not meet the same result, Rowan had simply blocked the halberd with his blade, dispersed away some of the immense force it was carrying, and directed the halberd over his head and into the ground, and with the force carried by the weapon it was enough to shatter the fragile state of the realm to pieces. Rowan did not pause to observe what he had just accomplished, disregarding the titan who was staring at him in shock, with multiple mouths agape, Rowan was holding the destroyer with his right hand, and on his left palm, the darkness that was Nemesis had spread to cover almost half of his palm, he could hear whispers and a sort of attraction from the darkness tugging on his Essence, Aether and even his soul. Even as a third-dimensional living dimension, Rowan’s Essence, Aether, and Soul would be strong enough to resist the call of this darkness and now, his energy stores could actively defend themselves against it, effectively freeing his attention to focus on battle, it might have seemed like a small change, but Rowan was able to effectively divert the ambush from the Eye of Time because he did not have to fear the corruption of Nemesis. He sneered internally, there was a reason he held on to Nemesis for that long, it was to keep this being close to him. Keeping your enemy closer was a perfectly great move when their goal was to escape. Lifting his Destroyer, Rowan positioned the point of the blade on his left palm, and then he plunged his blade into the palm until the hilt of the weapon nearly touched his impaled palm, except for a slight shiver that crossed his body, he gave no indicator that he had nearly divided his palm in two. "Interesting weapon," Gothra’Inul looked at the blade stuck in Rowan’s palm, "But you don’t believe that is enough to kill a higher-dimensional immortal. If you do, then this battle would certainly be interesting, on my part at least…. Hahaha, you can continue to maim yourself, it will make killing you even faster." Blasted away by Rowan, the Eye of Time had been vibrating in agitation, so many things were going wrong, and the sense of mortal danger that it was sensing from all around it was the greatest since the moment it was struck out from its main body, and although the plan had been for the titan to divert the attention of Rowan long enough for the Eye to make the fatal strike, and Gothra’Inul was doing his best to fulfill his part, the last words he spoke nearly made the Eye of Time lose it in anger, how could it not see what that abomination was doing! "Silence! I am working with a fool," It roared at Gothra’Inul who looked shocked, and then rage filled his multiple faces. The Eye of Time ignored what was going on in the mind of the titan, this lesser creature was only allied with him due to necessity, the Eye roared at the titan even as it fired itself towards Rowan, "Attack him before it’s too late, Nemesis has my essence inside of it!" "Too late," Rowan growled and he began pulling out the destroyer from his left hand, the blade vibrated as it unleashed billions of chains along its entire length.
