Chapter 1889: Cleansing Reality (9) "Temporal Fugue... Splintered Epoch." Chronomancer Prime might be extremely low-key key out of all Eos’s bloodline avatars, but that did not make him weak, and no matter how he preferred to underplay his abilities, Prime could be extremely dangerous. Whispering the words of the spell to trigger the powers of his authority, the light in his eyes brightened, and the hands of the clock in his eyes began to rotate rapidly, making dozens of clicking sounds. Every hand stopped in the north position with a final click, and Reality... splintered as the flawless, singular timeline of the Celestial Domain fractured. Around Prime, a dozen, a hundred, a thousand, a million, a trillion, a quadrillion overlapping moments bloomed into existence. His previous fractured timeline, which had descended into heaven, had given him an accurate count of all his opposition, allowing him the time to prepare his grand spell. All of these moments challenged every single individual who was descending upon him. Prime could have chosen to explode with a massive blast of power to resist his opposition, but there was no way he would fight like a brute. What was there to learn in something like that? Instead, he would rather face every single enemy here and learn from them. In one of the moments he had unleashed, he was already among the Angels, his touch aging their perfect forms to dust in a microsecond. In another, he stood unmoved as their spears passed through a version of him that had not yet arrived. In a third, he was a child, and the Angels found their wrath impotent against a target that held no sin. He was not in multiple places at once; he was forcing the domain to experience every possible "now" involving him simultaneously. While dealing with every enemy here, Prime casually dismissed the overwhelming amount of power bearing down on him into a fractured timeline he made appear over the central location of the heart of heaven. Moulding this timeline to resemble a tube, he directed all the power into a beam of force that sliced this magnificent place in two... using the power of his enemies against them. Checking the timepiece in his pocket to see how long he had spent on the spell, his eyes blinked in satisfaction. He was a nanosecond faster, and Prime knew that with this experience, he could do better. Keeping back the timepiece, he casually strolled through the massive hole he had torn through the heart of heaven as an intense battle raged around him. Before he reached the hole, the battle was over, and every angel or demon who stood against him was dead. They all flickered as if they were mirages before they vanished. This was deliberate. Prime did not want to keep a mess around him; any sort of complications, no matter how small, needed to be wiped out. On the surface, this entire battle may have lasted barely a second, but every moment that Prime had created nearly had infinite time inside them. Some of the most potent and stubborn Celestials had battled for billions of years inside these moments before they inevitably perished. A part of his mind was rapidly analyzing all the data he had collected as he headed towards Primordial Light. He felt a stutter in the overwhelming Will of Primordial Light, and then there was the inevitable rage. Prime on his own was incredibly dangerous, but when he was linked to the inexhaustible energy source that was Eos, it allowed him to perform miracles that were closer to abominable events. There should be no way he should have had the juice to power a spell of this magnitude, but he had a really big thigh he was hanging on to. The Will of Primordial Light rippled out; the rage of the Primordial by his actions was apparent. Prime’s casual elimination of his heavenly hosts was a slap to the face. The nexus of light that was the Primordial’s focus intensified, trying to burn away the temporal static, to reassert a single, dominant narrative, which was that all the moments that Prime had created were false, and as the most significant authority in heaven, everything that had been unmade would be remade. The Will of Primordial Light was like an explosion of the sun, sweeping across the entire Celestial Domain, and Prime could choose to contest against this Will, match its energy, and suppress it, but why would he fight like an Ouroboros Serpent? Prime began to raise both of his hands slowly and brought them forward as his fingers intertwined into a strange configuration, as he began to chant the beginning of a spell. The Will of Primordial Light slammed against him and swept past him to begin unmaking the changes he had made. Prime grunted with pain at the invasion of a Will filled with madness, but he did not stop his actions. A strange shrieking sound began to rise all over heaven as the Will of Primordial Light reached into trillions of moments and fought to pull back everything that had changed. But Prime had completed his spell, "Causality Breach... Un-Argument." The Will of Primordial Light that surrounded heaven suddenly rippled, and a strand of darkness appeared in its heart. This strand of darkness was small, barely noticeable, but it grew into a colossal shadow that began swallowing the light. "ABOMINATION... WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY LIGHT?!" Prime did not reply; he was focused on maintaining this spell. It was a fragile thing, and Primordial Light was fighting against him. "AHH.... WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY WILL?!" Prime rolled his eyes, "Asteroath, you should be thanking me, unlike my brothers and sisters, I am not too fond of extended torture. In fact, you should be calling me your savior... have I not given you all you wanted? I am giving you death and darkness." The spell that Prime had conjured was not to go against the Will of Primordial Light, but something more deeper and insidious. When Primordial Light’s Will had been rippling all throughout the Celestial Domain to reverse the effects of Prime’s first spell, it gave him the opportunity to dig deep into the Will of Primordial Light and access its source code, causing a breach in its causality from the first moment the Primordial had set foot inside this Reality. Of course, he could never have succeeded without knowing the secrets of Primordial Light and his wish to gain the power of darkness and death. All of this left a flaw in his perfect defenses that Prime was more than willing to take advantage of. "You fucked with my Creator Asteroath, now I return the favor, see this as practice for what I am going to do to your main body." The Primordial screamed; just because he craved the power of darkness did not mean he wanted it to possess his core, at least not when the entirety of his core was still made from the essence of light. All across the Celestial Domain, changes began to arise, as massive tendrils of darkness burst out from the rays of light that should be the Will of Primordial Light himself. He was a being of light, but due to his unwavering madness that planted a seed of darkness in his heart, he was now transforming into a creature of darkness. However, this transformation was superficial, and it could not fundamentally alter the core of who the Primordial was; as a result, this led to the clashing and dissipation of the Primordial’s essence. Every strand of darkness that emerged from his light would combine and dissipate in a dazzling affair like dropping a lit thermite into a jar of gasoline. Primordial Light was eating himself from the inside out and his screams of pain could be heard all over Reality. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺 Prime conjured a chair, and he sat on it with his right leg folded above his left, and he waited for Primordial Light to eat himself to death.
